So basically, we cherry pick anyone who has declared? What happens if your late-late round guys get put out on the waiver wire?

See Step 2 of the original post. You can draft players who were still available with each of your picks. If your players are cut, that means you're a bad GM and you get a higher pick next year and the coveted Matt Millen Trophy.

You know, I enjoyed watching 8 million hours of Quarterback video for nothing so much, I'd like to repeat that for 21 more roster spots!!!:thumb:

Pass.

If you don't use your knowledge, you'll lose it.

(I'm using future tense as a courtesy.)

You can put however much time you want into it and still have a chance at winning.

Give it a shot

We're up to 28 teams. Still plenty of room.

The draft is dead to me now.

Bump in preparation for the end of Day 2.

Rainman - one question: In Step 2 you say "draft day trades". I assume this means that we are stuck with whatever trades were made prior to the draft. (i.e. we don't get to undo the Cassel trade.)

Rain Man 04-29-2009 09:56 AM

Okay, everyone. Alternate Reality Game 1 is now officially up and running.

You will do the following:

1. State whether you accept the Cassel/Vrabel trade or not. If yes, you have those two players and lose your 2nd round pick. If no, you have the second-round pick but not the players.

2. State whether you accept the Tony Gonzalez trade or not.

3. Go through the draft and, using the Chiefs' available picks, draft your own 2009 rookie class. You can draft anyone who went at or below each Chiefs pick.

Once this is done, we will wait until the end of training camp and then do our 35-man cutdown.

If anyone new wants to join, feel free. Now's a perfect time.

Are we just supposed to post our drafts here?

And the Tony Gonzales trade.....if we accept it...then our draft pick is just held over until the next draft?

Yep. Post your answers to the first two questions and then post your draft.

Since this is a long-term game, if you trade Tony G. you get a 2010 2nd rounder out of it.
