It's the guy behind center holding them back....same as in Philly.

There we were Rumors that Arinas was gonna retire after this year. Wouldn't make sense that Reid would want out since he just got extended and seemingly won a power struggle with Dorsey.

I think Reid holds us back in a lot of ways, but I also think he's a perfect coach for mahomes. So I'd rather see what he can do with a qb who can let it loose. I'm OK with keeping him around. Unless Alex has some amazing turnaround that's the domino I think that most needs to fall.

When can the Chiefs find another Hank Strahm? Someone that isn't part of some coaching tree, hasn't been fired from another team and isn't content with winning the division. A coach that will hire the best people and not just coat tail riders. One that will build a team that doesn't require 4/7th of the cap to go to a bending defense, one that will get rid of players that don't perform.

Oh wait, the Chiefs have an owner that would rather watch futball than football. It all starts at the top.
