That is not when they booed. They only booed when both teams went arm in arm from endzone to endzone after the stadium announcement that they were pausing for a show of unity.

That fourth down attempt just makes no sense with so little time left in the game. You don’t get it and you may never see the ball again with a chance to tie or take the lead.

There was 12 minutes left at that point. Plenty of time. All the more reason to kick the FG and tie the game.
