Andy better have Bell on the field 90% of the time even if he’s lined up in the slot

I am a rookie at post but a OG in membership 2005! This is one of the best days as a Chiefs fan. CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!

I keep hearing people say "Bell was a product of his system"...well Conner hasn't put together a season of 2200+ all-purpose yards. You know who else gets production from players in his system...Andy Reid.
Bell has talent...there is a reason people are projecting the Jets picking #1 over-all....Gase's system sucks. It wasn't just Bell...Shit, I'm just hoping he matches Shady's production minus the fumbles. This will be very interesting to watch play out....I'm a proponent of getting former all-pro players. Bell is only 28. There is a reason they were "all-pro"...even when their physical skills start to diminish, they are still productive. Anyone regret picking up Suggs last year? |

This is some truly wild ass stuff this year for KC.
SuperBowl. Good draft. Amazing free agency. Free Le’Veon Bells just falling from the sky. |

Osemele also came from the Jets last year and everyone said he sucked ass. He was our best O lineman this year

It's official...KC is now THAT team...the team every other fan base wishes was theirs. Good times... |

The law of averages is swinging everything in our favor.
All those years of Grbac, Huard, Cassel, Blackledge, Croyle, Thigpen, and so on and so on factor into the overall mean. Everything eventually adjusts to the mean. So, with all of that terrible luck we’ve endured, now we are due as long a run of terrific luck. Free Le’Veon Bells are nice. |

"Le’Veon should have never left".

Did we or have we cut Darwin yet?

The absolute best part is that CEH has the exact same playing style as Bell. Patient, shifty, powerful, zoom type moves. Bell is taller, but they play the same. Bell knows how to pass block very well and I’m sure Clyde will learn from him. We should be able to keep them both fresh and never miss a beat while subbing out.
If the OL can block....this is probably the best offense ever assembled. Pardon the Hyperbole. |

Surprised I haven’t seen it mentioned, but this situation reminds me a LOT of Randy Moss.
Goes from the Vikings to the Raiders, falls off a cliff for two years, sent to the Patriots and has his career revived on an incredible roster |

With all this talk about teams only rushing 3-4...then dropping everyone back as a way to combat this offense. Now what?
Veach just made his chess move...your turn NFL. Bell against 3-4 man fronts "should" get them creeping back towards the the line...cant wait to see both CEH and Bell in the same backfield. I hope they keep dropping their LBs...then start gouging them for 7 yards a pop on screens. |

Veach/Andy put together a SB winning roster. They think Bell can help us so until proven wrong we should trust. End of discussion about his worth.

2) Elite receiver out of the backfield and even in the slot. 15 finds anyone that's open. 3) Not expecting crazy or particularly long runs from him. That's never been his thing anyway. If he can get 3 yards on 3rd-and-2, that helps. I don't expect great stats, and those who don't watch will have no clue how Bell plays, but he adds value to the team. At the veteran minimum salary. |
Bell played at Hall of Fame level with the Steelers, then went to the Jets to pay for sins he committed earlier in life, and now he’s out of purgatory and if he is only 80% of what he was in Pittsburg, it’s going to be awesome to watch.
|
Is there going to be a conflict between our new rapper (Bell) and our old rapper (Breeland)?
