So what, was the weather too warm last night for fans?

Our outfield defense looked elite with Terrance Gore out there, Seattles was a complete trainwreck, it looked like they had Jorge Soler in every position.
Our outfield is so fast every time I think there's a ball in the gap there's an out. |

Oh shit, didn’t know they play again today.
There’s no point to it really. |

How many times has a reporter asked Ned “Why is Owings on the team?”

Who are we trading this year?
Alex Gordon - Gold glove, seems to have found his bat. Should we make him a forever Royal or trade him at the deadline? Whit Merrifield - Decent power, good hitter, good speed, good defense, plays infield and outfield, cheap. Would get you a haul back but he's a fan favorite and just broke George Brett's record. Can he be a part of a playoff run in 3-5 years or will he be too old then? Jorge Soler - Bad defense, great power. A solid hitter with a few cheap years left on his contract. Mondesi - Elite speed, great defense, developing as a hitter. I'm glad Dayton didn't trade him a few years ago when we were looking for one last run with Hosmer and the gang, I think he can be a part of our future because he's very young and no way would I trade him. I don't think anyone else in our lineup is worth trading. I hope they don't package Ian Kennedy with a piece to get rid of the contract. |
Jorge Bonifacio is the Chris Davis of the Omaha Storm Chasers: 0 for 25 to start the season
|
lol! "hey ned, why is owings still on this team"?
|
DOZIER!!
|
Come on Whit!
|
SOLER!!
|
It's a thing of beauty when that dude connects

I know small sample size and all, but it's really nice to have a prospect thats so highly thought of produce like Mondesi is producing
|
is it weird that I'm hoping for a bullpen implosion again, so whit can get two more ABs?
He could get two more if we extend an inning somewhere, but right now it's looking like maybe only one more. |

Chris Davis is 0 for 50 this year. Owings isn't the worst!!
|
Holy shit the Royals are abysmal. Only 3 years removed from winning the WS. How did the fall happen so quickly and completely? :Lin:

Whits streak comes to an end

3 run lead lead in the 8th, with Wily Peralta on the mound. What could possibly go wrong? |
Seriously....
|
And just like that, 3 consecutive hits cuts the lead to 2.
2 on, nobody out. |
The streak is over

OMG Mondesi is actually drawing some walks, I'm so horny right now!
|
Boxberger in!! Perfect! Whit may get another chance
|
ROFL ROFL ROFL
|
OMG
|
LOL
|
1 ****ing strike away from ending the losing streak and this bullpen can't close the deal. ****ing pathetic losers.
|
Whit may get another chance!! Love to see the bullpen helping a teammate out
|
lmao my god
|
It's not fair that just because next year is the year that Dayton says they're going to start making the moves toward the next run that we as fans and the position players themselves have to suffer for another entire year because he refused to even try fixing the ****ing bullpen. It would be different if the position players were shit, but the fact that we have had leads in like all but 2 games this year says different. This team is ready to win, but **** winning in favor "the plan" I guess....so damn frustrating.

We need to fly a "FIRE DAYTON" banner ASAP
|
Pretty obvious this is a full tank job, why else would Owings play everyday?
|
I mean 2-160 isn't that bad.

Come on boys come defend Ned Yosts reeruned ass. Man good thing we have Boxberger to trade at the deadline. Im sure he will fetch us quite the haul!
|
GMDM should have taken the Braves job.

This bullpen will definitely keep us in tank mode. I’d be nervous handing the ball to the pen with a 5 run lead. |

Can someone give me a breakdown of the game today?

I want to kidnap Dayton Moore and force him to watch 48 straight hours of soft core pornography with his eyes forced open, Clockwork Orange style

Let's make one thing clear. This isn't on Ned. He didn't sign this shithole bullpen. Dayton Moore did it. I know he says his "plan" is to start making the required moves next year to prepare for our next "run," but lo and behold, he actually has a team that is ready to win right now. Rather than try to scramble together a serviceable bullpen, he sits on his damn hands in favor of the "plan."
|
We have a 10-game losing streak, and we've only played 12 games! :cuss:
In a way, it's kind of impressive thinking about how bad we are. |

Wow... And I'm sure Ned's presser was deeply informative.
LMAO It's all good folks, there's always tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year... |

If you arent going to make the playoffs you might as well tank. Quit bitching and embrace the process.

It's taken all of three weeks for this thread to be totally devoid of good content.
Way to go, clowns. |
