Im guessing we shift our attention to DE at this point.

Not ideal but the reality is if Veach is going to keep this team as a contender he's going to have to draft well and fill in some of these spots. You can't stay afloat only through FA. It's too expensive and there's no guarantee you'll get the guys you want.

If you aren’t getting an elite WR, why would you overpay anybody in free agency when the draft is constantly loaded with talent at the position? |

Frank Clark? No Sammy Watkins? No Anthony Hitchens? No Tyrann Mathieu has been our only major external FA addition that has been worth the money. That’s an important lesson here. Load up on the Austin Reiter’s, Damien Wilson’s and Dan Sorenson types who just do their job effectively, look for lottery tickets like we did with Ward and Ogbah and then attack the draft. |

But yeah, go looking for bargains. There’s plenty out there on the defensive side of the ball |

Man I cant believe some of the stuff written here lately. |

Breeland, Fuller, Suggs, Damien Williams, Reiter, Sorenson. All those guys were key to the SB path as well. Didn’t cost an arm and leg |
