I just mean in terms of how he looks in the pocket. He steps into it and throws it with purpose. Strong step into the throw, shoulders come flying through, full finish - just a guy looking in complete control of his instrument.

The MVS throw from Clay is probably right there with it. That's a confident ball thrown with bad intentions. We haven't seen those often enough this year. A ball where you can almost see him thinking "I got you now, ****ers..."

Yeah I was following you...His best actual throw of the year was probably that one he squeaked into Kelce over the Raiders defender's shoulder. That was a dime. Or that one he put to Watson on the sideline as he was starting to scramble. That was an extremely difficult pass with almost perfect ball placement.

yeah - why does richie james run like a newborn horse?

ThaVirus 12-29-2023 08:05 PM

I’ve got no issue with James there. Another receiver might have carried that one inside and only gained another 5 yards before being swarmed.

James puts a nasty jab step and cuts back outside where there was more real estate.

If he didn’t misjudge how close that rear defender was he may have been able to put his head down and haul ass for a TD.. but whatev. Seems like he’s more of a quick guy than an elite speed guy like Hardman.

ThaVirus 12-29-2023 08:05 PM

I did wonder why Watson hit the turf on his catch though..

Maybe the end zone angle would show a more difficult catch than what we’re seeing.

That's weird. He was far in bounds and showed no indication of sliding, and two Dolphins declined to try to tackle him at the 10. I know he's intimidating, but those guys really didn't want contact.

Buehler445 01-20-2024 03:39 PM

So every pass except for the pass to Watson was absolutely pinpoint perfect. Like perfect. And most of them had smoke. In the weather.

Tua didn’t throw a SINGLE ****ING PASS that was as good as any of the ones except the Watson throw.

Pretty sure they just wanted the game to be over. The cold overloaded them.

Yeah, I noticed it a lot this year from them. I remember these two from Bills games and they showed the Lamar Jackson pass on pregame earlier.

They have a couple guys who aren't afraid of contact... Mahomes' helmet broke on one play, and they had a nice stand at the goal line at halftime against the Bills. Other guys though... yikes.

...edit: it didn't save any of 'start at' times, so just take my word for it. LMAO :doh!:

Smith had a terrible rep on the Hardman EZ fumble. Blocked nobody off the line, had a chance to put hands on 25, who ended up making the play. Solid game from him, but that one's a bad look.

That was a really weird catch. I say him facing the wrong way and falling, and my heart sank for a split-second. Then the ball landed right in his breadbasket and pandemonium erupted in the pleasure centers of my brain.

If you made a list of Kelce's top twenty catches from Mahomes over the past six seasons, that one would be in the top ten. Maybe the top five. He laid all the way out for a wounded duck to get the first down. Amazing.

That game might have been Kelce's best game as a Chief, and that's saying something.

If Pat has less than 250 passing yards, and Kelce has more than 100 and all of Pat's TDs or two of them, Kelce's getting MVP.

SB XXIII effect. Montana threw for 357 but 215 yards was too hard to ignore from Rice.

What I'd really like to see if Rashee Rice getting MVP. Wouldn't that be perfect. LMAO

Yeah, don't give a flying ****.

I'm here for me. He plays for my guys and he's the best there's ever been. I just can't muster a single **** about what anybody thinks. Nobody cared when we had Gonzo. Or Charles (who remains criminally underrated). Or DT. Or any of the other legitimate greats we rolled with, so I don't care what they think now.

I agree, I think those clinics literally put us in the driver seat, and ended the first seed dominance they had experienced and relied on. That pride was their downfall, displayed by all the dirty play from their D when they couldn't control the narrative.

I was screaming for them to hand it to Hardman on an end around.

There were several plays Bosa just crashed down like Taylor Swift took the handoff, most notably when Clyde got stuffed.

ESPN broke it down. Reid utilized it three times. On two of Mahomes runs for first downs and then the TD to Hardman. They read Bosa every time and waited for him to crash. Bosa bit every single time.

I am amazed at how Andy learned how to depants Nick "Eric Hicks" Bosa after Super Bowl 54.

To get clowned in the regular season is one thing, but to literally pin your season on the belief that Nick was going to bite on 4th and 1 and being proven right would wake me up at night if I was Nick.
