It only escalated one step further... Arianny called Rousey a bully and Ronda said "That the fighters should get paid more than the ring girls? How does that make me a bully? That makes me ****ing right."

Which is my favorite thing ever said ever.

Interesting read, Ronda is absolutely right.

Katipan 02-27-2015 06:33 PM

There's looking skinny hot in a bikini (ring girls) and there's looking ridiculously hot like these women (fighters).

Cat especially. Jesus.

I'd totally let Cat hold me down and **** me. I'll even let my hair grow out so she can pull it while she slaps my ass.

Katipan 02-27-2015 06:53 PM

Holly Holm too is looking more ripped than I've ever seen her.

That face tho.

Maybe if she smiled more...

I get it, I really do. She looks like soft firm comfort. Like a mattress. A hot mattress. And comparing the faces isn't fair. The only thing pounding her face is the occasional nutsac.

But cut off the heads and damn.

You do know that McDonald is/was a fighter, right?

Bufkin 02-28-2015 08:26 AM

Ronda Rousey is literally the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on not named Rashida Jones. Holy **** she's sooooooo hot.

Chief_For_Life58 02-28-2015 09:13 AM

Rhonda would get wrecked by any man at any weight division in the ufc. Even the shittiest ufc fighters are still slick as hell at wrestling, bjj, and stand up. Hell even dudes fighting in lower promotions would rock her.

Katipan 02-28-2015 09:18 AM

She has the best Judo in MMA. Repeated over and over and over and over again. A guy would have to hit her to hurt her and good luck with doing enough damage the first time that she doesn't flip you on your back.

Any man? Any division? Please.

Chief_For_Life58 02-28-2015 09:28 AM

Dude judo is takedowns with a gi on. All these ufc promotion guys were mostly college wrestlers. And they're also atleast purple belts in bjj. Is chris weidman a Olympic judukan? Cain valesqez? Robbie lawler? Tj dillashaw? Judo is a badass martial art but isn't one of the key ones for success in mma. Men are faster than women, lower mma local promotion fighters would whoop her. And whoever brought up the bjj roll between her and bj penn is laughable. He's going about 50% while she's going 90

Katipan 02-28-2015 09:32 AM

They didn't need to be. No one is saying Ronda can face off against Cain but the utter dismissal of anything she does because she's a woman is stupid.

Chief_For_Life58 02-28-2015 09:33 AM

#Using the gi to get takedowns. Rhonda is ****ing awesome and great for the sport. I love her. I hope zingano wins tho and shakes it up. Any male fighter in the ufc would be too much for her to handle. It would unbelievably insanely awesome if the ufc matched her up with a lower promotion guy who is wanting to fight in the ufc though. I doubt many guys would want to take the fight tho cus itd be so controversial

Katipan 02-28-2015 09:35 AM

And a good number of them would lose and then what would you do with your world?

Chief_For_Life58 02-28-2015 09:41 AM

Lol no. Any male pro mma fighter would just out strength her. Too fast and strong for her. But i guess we will just have to agree to disagree because they'll never match her against a dude. Im ready to watch some good mma tonight tho!! Can't wait to watch the holm pennington fight too! Go chiefs!!

penguinz 02-28-2015 01:29 PM

Chick fight, dont care about it any more than I did about a WNBA game, which is to say, pretty much O interest.

I normally love everything you say, but she would lose to 90% of all professional mma male fighters.. It is the same with all sports that require physical strength and speed as a determining factor with skills..

I am giving her a 10% chance though because she is just solid and a shit ton of dudes would overestimate her and get barred.

It is hard to bet against Rousey, the odds will never be against her until she loses. And she seems to be focused all the time.

Sure. Especially someone that was busted before and asked for her release a day after out of competition testing was announced by the UFC. Makes me a tad skeptical.

I don't blame you for being skeptical...

BTW Zingano with the worst strategy I've ever seen in a title fight...she deserved to lose in that fashion with that.

There is no one on par..

She trains with the boys and competes with them.. The other women are trivial right now, and she is just hitting prime..

Go to hollywood...

Make some real money since Dana is such a pos when it comes to paying the fighters..

Dana and Rousey both have avoided Cyborg like the plague. Rousey has had every opportunity to call Cyborg out (like Cyborg has done to Ronda), but instead calls out inferior competition like a boxer with 2 years MMA experience. The best striker she's faced is Miesha Tate, which is beyond laughable.

If Ronda Rousey stepped into the ring with Cris Cyborg, there would be manslaughter charges. Cyborg spars with male MMA fighters and knocks them out. Her KO power will never be matched in WMMA, and her fight IQ/defense would prevent a shock armbar that Rousey is so good at locking in.

Rousey says a fight with Cyborg “biggest fight in MMA history”

Whoa nelly! Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for equal rights and equality, but Rousey vs. Cyborg as the biggest fight of all time? Well, if you believe current Strikeforce champ Ronda Rousey, it will be. Here’s her talking about the potential of a super fight with Cyborg on the MMAHour:

“I think if it was done right and it was done correctly, you could have people watching that fight that have never seen a single MMA fight before. Lots of them. I think it could be the biggest MMA fight of all-time,” said Rousey.

“I’m serious. Think about it. Every MMA fan will watch, and a whole bunch of other people that aren’t even the least bit interested in MMA would watch. That’s the kind of demographic that fight could reach to that none of the men can right now.”

Granted, I think the potential of those two throwing down would make a strong case for the first WMMA fight in UFC history, but to be honest, I don’t see how it could be that much bigger (if at all) than Cyborg’s other big fight against Gina Carano, which did pull a still-record for Strikeforce with 856,000 viewers. A large number for sure, yet a far cry from some of the biggest events in UFC history.

That all said, this fight needs to happen. Rousey has no one left to fight, and Cyborg is coming off her suspension in December. Let’s get it done and we’ll work out the deets later.

Dolce said he met with Cyborg a few years back and there is no reason him or a good nutritionist couldnt get her comfortably to 135.

Ronda Rousey has become one of the most popular and profitable fighters in UFC history. Dana is smart enough to know that Cyborg would end the fight within 90 seconds. This would be a huge dent on Ronda's resume, and therefore a dent on the company. It's smart business on his part.

BigCatDaddy 03-01-2015 12:31 AM

LMAO

"I've said before, I don't care if she's injecting horse semen into her eyeballs, I'll fight her, but that's just my personal decision,"*Rousey*said. "... This girl has been on steroids for so long and [has been] injecting herself for so long that she's not even a woman anymore. She's an 'it.' It's not good for the women's division. It's not good at all ...*"If she comes in the UFC and I beat the [expletive] out of her and then I retire and become an action movie star, then the UFC is still going to be stuck with her. The division could die. She could ruin the whole sport."

No, there is only one fight that makes sense for Ronda Rousey. Just a single contest worthy of her and capable of making fans' hearts race. There is one woman on the planet on Rousey's level—and her name is Cris "Cyborg" Justino.

Like Rousey, Cyborg makes opponents look hapless in the cage. Like Rousey, she appears to be a force of nature. No one has managed to go the distance with her since 2008. And like Rousey, she ran through the competition this weekend, dispatching poor Charmaine Tweet in just 46 seconds at Invicta FC 11, blasting her with a right hand before swarming with punch after punch for the finish.

At 145 pounds no one can touch her. Since running through Gina Carano in the first major MMA event headlined by women back in 2009, she's finished six consecutive opponents by TKO, although a positive test for the steroid stanozolol clouds those accomplishments in the eyes of some.

So the UFC signed one wrestler known as The Straight Edge Superstar because of his real life avoidance of drugs and alcohol and you feel that will be perceived as condoning steroid use? Do I have this right?

And you feel that is on the same level as signing a woman with a failed drug test and taken so many androgens that if you saw her walking down the street you say there is a 90% chance she is a man or used to be one?

Just about as likely as perceiving signing Cyborg condones steroid use.
