Dennis Kelly has been released by the Titans too. Played every game for the Titans last year. Is he worth a look?

Just shows that other options will be available if we don't sign someone in the next week.

As the guy said above. He is great at short plays which is what we need.

If the WR market is flat it makes so much sense.

FloridaMan88 03-16-2021 02:19 PM

The Faketriots are signing a bunch of okay but not great playmakers on offense as if they still have a franchise-caliber QB to elevate everyone's level of play.

That formula is not going to work with Can't Newton.

Damnit Marvin to the Jags and for fairly cheap too. Surprised Veach wasn't all over him. Feel like he would've been a perfect X and gave us a bigger possession type WR who is great at making contested catches and in the RZ.

WR market is not there in free agency and the draft class is deep. No need to spend any money whatsoever to get a legit X.

WarChiefs89 03-16-2021 03:41 PM

Reports on CHI shopping WR Anthony Miller. Cost is low -- only $1.2 mil owed this season. I find him interesting. He's been with a train wreck of an offense, but has occasionally flashed. Maybe a change of scenery sees him blossom. If they'd take a late round pick this might be worth a shot IMO.

Not sure it makes sense with reports of WR market being depressed in the FA market though. Might be able to sign an equivalent player cheap w/o giving up anything

That was cheap, about 7 mil a year. If we can get Curtis Samuel for around that price, it would amazing. Samuel is younger but a less accomplished wr than jones. His salary should be around the same as jones.

Yeah that all seems like a pretty good situation for everyone involved.

Wentz gets a great line and the F out of Philly.

The Colts get a cheap shot at a good decent QB or at the least one they can use as a stop gap while they draft and develop young one.

The Eagles dump Wentz's salary and get draft capital.

Unless Wentz is broken physically and then of course the Colts get hosed.
