That was my thought as well.

If I was a cop, seems like it's something I'd say to get some emotional dude off the phone/out of my face.

Are you hurt?
No.

Any damage to the car?
No.

Can we speak to the person who hit you?
They drove off.

Any pictures or videos?
No.

Any witnesses we can talk speak with?
No.

....

So what are we going to do about this?!?

Sounds like she was loading groceries into the back. Pretty serious.

Her car was probably too full of crap like old fast food bags to be able to fit the groceries in...that's why she had to get in the back and rearrange stuff

If it's your friend, then why not just ask them directly?

This whole thing seems like a big attention grab from the biggest attention whore on the site.

I don't really care. Just trying to be a good samaritan. Plus it'd be funny if it was Toney.

Rep for any useful answers.

Private info.

Just my POV from working at a police department. It is absolutely believable that since there is nothing to go on an officer would say hey there is really nothing we can do about this I am sorry.

But generally telling people you are going to do something you are not actually going to do is a really easy way to get in trouble as a cop and it would be an absolute dumb unforced error when the easy path and something you have to do a 100 times a day as a cop is simply tell someone the truth even though they do not like it.

Didn’t know police departments had baristas
