Apart from the compensation and the fact that Wilson was very clearly on the down side of his career, their franchise is going to lose 4-5 years to it.

If you didn't have clowns like the Raiders and Browns and Panthers you would expect to see the Broncos at the top of any list of worst-run franchises.

They also kept Jerry Jeudy on 5th year option

Colin Cowherd predicted the Broncos would win a SB with Wilson 2 years ago and since then, we won back to back SBs. He stated he would never pick against the Chiefs again so there is still hope for him.

They're on the hook to give him $39 mils next year. Wow. I wish I could suck and get paid like that.
