The first few pages of this thread from when the news dropped over at the Colts fan forum is a quality read.

It's like putting words to what the people in the stands must've been thinking/feeling as they found out.

Not sure how serious you are, but Luck's timing has really screwed the Colts. You'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise. We don't know exactly what happened but it is very shocking for a top franchise QB to just quit apparently unexpectedly a couple weeks before the start of a season.

The guy must have no respect for the colts management or team which deserves the boos he got walking off the field. The Colts made a huge monetary investment in Luck even letting the Colt legend Peyton Manning go. Now they are left without the guy they went all in on and not much else. You'd be pissed if you were a Colts fan and you know it.

I got nothing more to say on the subject. Luck made his decision. It is what it is. I don't respect him as a leader and I think most Colts fans would agree with me.

The Colts knew about Luck long ago. They had more money than anybody, a metric **** ton of money. Everybody thought they would spend and they didn’t.

They also traded back and got more draft picks.

For a team that was looking to make a run, they sure backed off.

Here’s why: they knew this was a possibility and prepared for it.

Luck hadn't practiced this year and was probably going to go on IR. He may not have even played this season.

I guess he could have half ass rehabbed and got paid so not to upset some snowflakes though.

lets be real hes gonna take a year or two off get right, then when brady retires and indy has a new young gun, theyll trade his contract to new england where billy can revive his career.

Nah. He'll end up in Denver. That's just how this works.

Luck isn't coming back. He's not married to the game like most of these idiot players are. Also he's done being a gladiator in the Colosseum told to fight to the death every week for the entertainment of the reeruned masses.

They didn't go after his money because they hope he changes his mind down the road.

Had he decided to go on IR for example they had to pay him $22MM this season anyway. So for another $2MM they keep the option open to him coming back.

FTR, that forum is a laughingstock among Colts fans. A bunch of fair weather douchebags with a 300 pound mod named Peytonsgirl.

You can add every player in the NFL that has ever played with/against him, according to the dozens of reaction clips on YouTube.
