I like Clark, but I would have preferred to send a second for Clowney (if possible) and keep our first and use it on a corner.

That's a great deal for Seattle.

Or trade a 3rd, Ragland and Attouchu for Clowney right now and then get a 3rd rd comp after this season

BryanBusby 08-31-2019 12:12 PM

Clowney wasn't coming here for that haul LMAO

Sassy Squatch 08-31-2019 12:12 PM

That'd be neat and all, but that's 16 million of cap space we could've rolled over and used to sign our players gone for a rental.

You're speaking in hindsight. At the time we done the Clark deal there was no way the Texans were accepting that deal, none at all. The latter it dragged out the more their hand was forced and Seattle have benefited. Difference is though we've locked down Clark for years, Seattle haven't and could well lose him when it's all said and down.

What’s Clark’s cap hit and bonus etc?

Kiimo 08-31-2019 12:15 PM

Houston wasn't trading Clowney to the team directly blocking their path to the Super Bowl

Titty Meat 08-31-2019 12:17 PM

Soooo Miller cut the Clemson dude traded. Were signing someones scrub to replace Claiborne for 4 games arent we?

They reportedly shopped Clowney directly to the Chiefs

Maybe

Perhaps it would have taken a little more. Either way, I wonder if we could have gotten something done where we saved our first.

We would not have to. We do have Ward, Fuller, Breeland, Wade, Fenton and if need be we could use Mathieu.
I think we probably would but we don't have to trade for someone.

Talking to RunKC, not you.

Pats cut Hoyer so they don’t have a backup.

Oh wait...they’ll probably get this guy

Clowney was never coming here for any price. Texans think they are going to the Super Bowl with DeShaun Watson. They would never have done this shit trade with the team they view as one of their biggest competitors for the crown.
