I'm calling it. The Browns offence is gonna shit the bed here and then Joe Burrow is gonna go super saiyan and win it.

Maybe I spoke to soon...

smithandrew051 09-17-2020 09:23 PM

Isn’t Burrow like the same age as Mahomes was last year?

Kareem Hunt still runs like a beast.

Jewish Rabbi 09-17-2020 09:23 PM

Burrow over 238.5 passing yards ✅

Unfortunately the Bengals defense is total rubbish.

tk13 09-17-2020 09:23 PM

There's some vintage Hunt.

Titty Meat 09-17-2020 09:24 PM

If we still had Hunt do we draft CEH?

Correct. He’s turning 24 in December. Not a very young rookie.

WhawhaWhat 09-17-2020 09:25 PM

Browns have over 200 yards rushing now between Chubb and Hunt. They may end up with more yards than Mayfield passing yards.

Easy 6 09-17-2020 09:25 PM

Wow, having two backs like that makes it easy to close things out

SupDock 09-17-2020 09:25 PM

Damn. Hunt is looking good, but the Browns are blocking well

dannybcaitlyn 09-17-2020 09:26 PM

Browns taking no chances with Mayfield.

Pitt Gorilla 09-17-2020 09:26 PM

Yeah, I'm glad we don't have that guy as our backup...

Mahomes_Is_God 09-17-2020 09:26 PM

****in Hunt

pugsnotdrugs19 09-17-2020 09:27 PM

You gotta put up more fight than that Cincy

Hunt opened up some old wounds on that drive. That hurts.

I'm sure the Chiefs would have CEH and Hunt on the same team. No doubt about it, they'd go RB at 32.

tk13 09-17-2020 09:29 PM

We'll never win a Super Bowl without Kareem Hunt.

Weird argument. I'm glad we have players like Osemele, Wharton, CEH, Sneed, etc., even though we can clearly win a SB without them.

Darrell is a 3rd RB short yardage guy at best.

I can love Clyde and think he’s a future pro bowler while also missing Kareem at the same time. Dude is a freight train and I miss watching him run over people with us.

No, I'm just making fun of you. You sound like someone who's girlfriend lied, cheated on them, and 2 years later you're still pining for them even though it's their fault and they treated you like crap.

It sucks but that's the way things worked out. Hunt lied, he paid the price. We did just fine without him, like I said we would. We have a coach with a 20 year history of finding star RBs in the draft, and he just found us another one. And if CEH has trouble, I'm sure we can draft another one.

And that doesn't even factor in the fact that Hunt would have been a FA this year and we would probably be letting him walk, or signing him to a huge contract and not signing Jones or Kelce or something in turn. It all worked out.

DRM08 09-17-2020 09:36 PM

Burrow looks like Andrew Luck if Cincy does not fix their OL.

MAHOMO 4 LIFE! 09-17-2020 09:36 PM

Get Burrow a damn line please

Mahomes_Is_God 09-17-2020 09:36 PM

I think Burrow is bleeding inside of his chest. Poor dude.

Rain Man 09-17-2020 09:37 PM

I feel really good about our offensive line after watching some of the other Week 1 games.

Why Not? 09-17-2020 09:37 PM

5 for 5 on 4th downs. The Browns lack of effort on defense is embarrassing. We’d put 50 on these chumps easily.

eDave 09-17-2020 09:38 PM

Not good teams but a good game for TNF.

duncan_idaho 09-17-2020 09:38 PM

Burrow is getting killed. This is like watching David Carr in Houston. Lord.

I like a lot about Burrow. Similar to Alex Smith physically but not a chickenshit about throwing into windows.

eDave 09-17-2020 09:38 PM

Reciever ****ed him.

PurpleJesus28 09-17-2020 09:39 PM

How many yards would Mahomes have if he had 60 attempts in a game ?

Rain Man 09-17-2020 09:39 PM

Cleveland got away with a big DPI there.

Burrow looks like the real deal. He just plays for a shit franchise with a shit coach, shit OL and shit defense.

If they’re smart they’ll fire frat boy and hire Bieniemy

Megatron96 09-17-2020 10:31 PM

That was a pretty good game. It helped that both defenses were pretty bad. But entertaining.

I’d rather Eric stuck around and took the baton from Andy.

chiefzilla1501 09-18-2020 07:29 AM

Even though it wasnt much of a game it was still good football.

Joe burrow looked great and the Bengals have to be excited to have him.

The browns looked great. They need to hide baker as much as possible but they did it really well. And that run game with just a little wiggle room can be dangerous.

Two historically bad teams who have some reason to be optimistic.

The 60+ attempts to get over 300 was a bit concerning, but watching that game the dude was running for his life. I'd be mailing in a big box of shit to 1 Arrowhead Dr for Veach if I watched Pat take that kind of beating.

That's fair. I just thought Stefanski used the offense the way kitchens should have last year. Run run run, use baker for scripted rollouts. They have to be really encouraged by what they saw from their offense. There's enough talent on that team that it shouldn't be hard to at least look competent. It also helps that they didn't play like undisciplined morons considering how many games boneheaded penalties costed them last year.

Yeah, he looks very pro ready. Sucks that he’s in a situation that will take several years to be competitive. They’re going to waste his rookie contract.

A contender who needed a QB (Patriots for instance) should’ve just packaged a shit load of picks to go get him.

The Bengals could stockpile picks for the rebuild and grab Lawrence in the next draft.

Despite being 0-2, Cincy fans must be over the moon about their new stud... easily the most legit looking rookie since Mahomes himself

They're probably scared to death that his O-Line is going to get him killed, Burrow has been getting hit a lot. Hope he's able to stay healthy.

Megatron96 09-18-2020 03:54 PM

Burrow looks legit. Though his yards per attempt average was laughably low, in every other respect he had a pretty solid night. Hell, I can't remember the last time I saw a QB throw the ball 61 times in a game. And he didn't throw a single INT in the process.

More important than his stats though, he looked like a pro QB. He made good reads, threw the ball accurately and with the appropriate touch when needed, and I can't remember him making a serious mental error during the game. Of course, I missed part of the second and third quarters, but still.

It's really unfortunate that he's tied to CIN though. That organization will probably not only squander his rookie contract, but also markedly shorten his career by never protecting him properly.

Andrew Luck 2.0 if the Cincy front office does not get him some help on the offensive line. Won't make it to age 30 in this league if he keeps taking so many big time hits.

Yep, that front office better be trying to move Heaven and Earth to improve that unit THIS year, not next... pony up some picks and make a trade happen before its too late

absolutely. I would also concern myself less with trying to win games and dropping him back 60 times and more on keeping him healthy. Run first, play-action, keep the kid upright no matter the score.

CasselGotPeedOn 09-19-2020 09:10 AM

I would already take Burrow over Mayfield, Darnold, and Allen. Put him on the Bills right now and they might be better than the Ravens.

Yeah, especially since they also have a really good OL. And Stefanski had a real good run game in Minnesota. At this point its all about how you hide baker just enough to get it going.

I worry they're too stupid for that. They'll recognize Burrow's talent and then run him into the ground by having him drop back 50+ times a game.
