I made it to the highway scene in the desert. I felt like I was working to make whatever payoff there might be, but the shitty CGI was all I could take. What a craptacular waste of time. :(

It’s not like that. It’s very meh. It’s certainly not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.

1. Gal Gadot is hot. Like surface of the sun hot.

2. I feel bad for the poor bastard that bumped uglies with Gadot and didn’t know about it.

It's not one of those films in which it's so bad that it's funny or entertaining.

It's a bad film because there's no real story, no real direction, a waste of talent (Pedro Pascal, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, etc.) and a waste of $200+ million dollars.

It's more akin to a weekly episode of The Flash or Batwoman on the CW than say, Marvel's Endgame.

We finally watched it the other week.

The first 40 minutes or so are fun enough... lighthearted, some decent humor.

Then they steal a jet. And it has enough fuel to get them to Cairo without refuel. And a guy who flew biplanes instantly figures out how to fly a modern plane with incredibly sensitive controls. And she makes the jet invisible.

And it just. Goes. Off. The. Rails.

And the rape. Don't forget the rape.

I'm not sure, but I think it refers to the fact that Steve takes over some other guys body & she has sex with the other guy despite him not having any idea that any of it happened.
