The Chiefs run defense is the ‘85 Bears against true RB’s this season… not a single 100 yard rusher allowed.

Only fake QB Lamar has rushed for over 100 yards against the epic Chiefs run defense.

162 yds rushing. 3 receptions for 49 yds. 2 rushing TDs.

36.1 points in a full point PPR league.

Not without our Derrick Henry kryptonite Mike Pennel.

Chiefs win 35-31

Tacks beat the **** up, shit secondary. Chiefs slow him on the first drive and force a fg. Chiefs death by 1,000 paper cuts. Tacks second drive stalls on a Tannehill TO, Quick score. Tacks down Two TD's, snowballs from there. DH = 15 carries 68 yards, 2 receptions 20 yds. Tannehill forced to throw the ball 40 times, gets in a hole early. Henry comes back to earth. No way the tits win this game or let henry run away with it cause the shit is rigged. Tits will get a ****ton of holding penalties. Both on the line and their db's.

THING I DON'T LIKE: Titans RB Derrick Henry rushing for more than 117.5 yards against the Chiefs.

Henry has eclipsed 117.5 yards on the ground in four of six games in 2021, and he averages a league-best 130.5 rushing yards per game. His 783 yards rushing this season eclipses the ground totals of 26 NFL teams heading into Week 7. The Chiefs' defense is allowing 133.2 rushing yards per game (27th in the league).

So, why on earth am I making the argument that Henry will not surpass 117.5 yards on the ground?

Well, there's no denying it's a tough task for Kansas City, but I expect the Chiefs' strategy will be to create fronts that address the problems Henry causes. It's worth noting that Henry also leads the league in rushing yards when facing a stacked box (eight or more defenders) with 249. However, the Chiefs should be especially prepared to stop the Titans' zone concepts to continue their improvement in limiting teams from earning rushing first downs. They started Juan Thornhill over Daniel Sorensen at safety last week against the Washington Football Team and the change paid off. Kansas City limited Washington to a season-low 13 points and surrendered just six rushing first downs. (K.C.'s season average is 8.7 allowed per game, ranking 31st.)

The Titans' banged-up secondary will provide an opportunity for Patrick Mahomes and Co. to score, which means the Titans could be forced to throw the ball more than they'd like to. All this to say, Henry could be targeted as a receiver more than usual, but projects to finish with less than 117.5 rushing yards.

The Chiefs haven’t allowed 100 yards to an individual RB in 13 straight games… that includes the likes of Chubb and Hunt (twice) and Kamara.

Henry doesn't matter unless he scores touchdowns. Who gives a **** how many yards he has.

Chiefs red zone defense will hold strong against a mediocre QB.

We have unfinished business.

MTG#10 10-22-2021 09:25 PM

All of them

saturnknts 10-22-2021 10:16 PM

Fan on NFL network pointed out besides his breakout run he only had 67 or 69 yards last game. Stop the mistakes and he's human.

mr. tegu 10-22-2021 10:17 PM

For this particular question he may not get as many as expected simply because the middle of our pass defense leaves so many juicy tempting throwing lanes that even an average QB like Tannehill can have success against.

ThyKingdomCome15 10-22-2021 10:18 PM

He's going to have a good day. Late in the game they'll have to abandon the running game keeping him under 150 but well above 100. I say 137 yards and 2 TD's. Chiefs win 34-27.

You're not a Chiefs fan unless you're terrified of running backs.

I'm not getting the "last time we faced them" argument. Is our current defense as good as it was late 2019? Hell no. The best way to stop him with our less talented defense is holding them to field goals early and keeping the foot on the gas on offense, hoping he gets less than 20 carries.
