The Hunt For Red October is an excellent movie that is pretty damn faithful to an excellent (and genre changing) book. There should be zero guilt in that pleasure.

RIP to one of the greatest actors who ever lived. He had so many great roles and was in so many of my favorite movies. Untouchables, Red October, Highlander, Man Who Would Be King.... I could go on and on.

I was going to post this quote. It’s a great quote.

Death comes for us all and so it isn’t a surprise he died, but part of me, unlike Goldfinger, did not expect Mr. Bond to die.

I loved that he kept his Scottish accent in whatever he played. Another great, under-appreciated movie was Outland, where he played a lawman on a moon of Jupiter. Well worth a watch.

RIP, Mr. Bond. RIP.
