Raiders signed Kenyan Drake to a 2 year, $14.5 million dollar deal.

The Chiefs ask their TE2 to block more than anything. He’s not going to see anywhere near the same amount of targets as a TE2 in this offense.

Cook had 60 targets last year.

Keizer and Yelder combined for 20 in an offense that throws the ball more.

Cook is obviously going to see more targets as the #1 receiving TE in the Chargers offense as opposed to TE2 behind Kelce. Are you seriously arguing that he’s not?

The Chiefs don’t use 12 personnel enough to expect them to sign a guy like Cook that is basically a big WR. It’s really simple, but of course your dumbass makes it difficult.

Hmm, maybe Keizer and Yelder had those low number of targets because they're ****ing awful at anything receiving related?

Nah....can't be LMAO.

Orrrr maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Chiefs essentially have 2 top 5 receivers that eat up an enormous amount of targets. Not to mention other weapons at WR and RB.

Nah.....can’t be.

If they wanted another receiver like that at TE2, then why haven’t they once gone after a guy that fits that mold in Reid’s tenure? Even Harris, who was a great athlete, was used more as a blocker than anything. You don’t think that’s by design? You don’t think that says anything about the scheme and their philosophy?

Good ****ing god you’re absolutely clueless.

The Raiders are just terrible at everything they do.

I like the Drake move. He’s a borderline starter (4.5/per in his career for middling teams) and Jacobs is on his rookie deal the next 2 years as it is

What on Earth LMAO

4th place this year for the Faid.

Louis Riddick actually likes the Raiders and played for them, but says “I’m confused”: https://twitter.com/lriddickespn/sta...889237515?s=21

They went out and spent that money on a RB with no offensive line and now they’re demanding Mariota take a pay cut or they’ll cut him.

Hmmm....I wonder which option he picks.

It's so funny how you guys try to make Reid out to be this coach who can't call plays to his players strengths. If he had a TE2 that could take advantage of matchups and take advantage of Kelce and Hill being doubled, and was a monster in the redzone, you don't think he'd make sure he gave that guy a lot more targets than he gave Nick ****ing Keizer and Yelder? Sure boss.

Even Harris got 35 targets one year. You don't think Cook in this offense would get 45+.

Like I said, Reid schemes to get the best out of the players he has. If he has someone that he thinks he can use to exploit a defense he will. Thats what makes him such a great coach. He wouldn't get a player who's averaged 8 touchdowns a season the past 3 years and not know what to do with him.

JFC you’re one hard headed idiot.

If Reid wanted a guy like that, he’d obviously go after one. He hasn’t. That tells you everything you need to know.

They had a guy with a similar skill set last year that was clearly a better receiver than Keizer and Yelder and he was a healthy scratch every week. They clearly signed him to be insurance for Kelce, but since he wasn’t the blocker they look for at TE2, he never saw the field.

You still can’t grasp that this is about philosophy and scheme, even after I try to explain it to you.
