That's better than our second best WR last year...and Thomas only played 10 games.

Wow 448 yards!

That production basically came in just 8 games. Pretty solid.

Yeah that's a pretty great -- albeit old -- WR trio.

Ridley-Hopkins-Boyd would've really ****ed shit up in 2019. But I still think it's a good group for a young gunslinger.

It's probably amongst the best in the league on paper... who are the top 5 WR rooms currently?

Couch-Potato 05-02-2024 01:25 PM

I understand the angle that Michael Thomas is a sneaky good buy for the right team, but I just don't think we're that time. If we're bringing in a vet, OBJ would move the needle.

I would love this but his cap hits over the next few years are insane.

I wouldn't hate Miles Sanders.

It would probably be a 1 year rental because obviously after a trade you aren't on the hook for much of that money.

It would be $18.5M each year with no dead cap for cutting him, so no, not really insane unless he's completely fallen off the cliff.

With his style he'd probably be a damn good FS in a few years.

Marshon Lattimore cap hit to a new team:
2024- $1.210M
2025- $18M
2026- $18.5M

That $1.21M for this season makes it very very tempting.

Thomas can produce for 8 games until Rice returns.

If we're so adamant on not giving the younger guys too many snaps, wouldn't we just bring back Mecole? I get that he's redundant, but he certainly knows the offense and would be ready to go immediately.
