Carlsbad Village is just awesome. And during non-rush hour, it's only 80 minutes from Hollywood, so the commute for meetings and whatnot would be a breeze.

I just have to be patient and wait for the 5 million square feet of office space and seven new hotels to go up in Hollywood the next few years, then I can escape when real estate is at its peak.

Then it's either OC or North SD County. :D

You'd fit in well in South Dakota. :D

You can like it without wanting to live there.

I see one more last leg down in oil prices and that should be the final straw. $23-25 on the low end.

IF oil stays above $30-32/ barrel for the next two weeks, that will probably be the new base and stay above $30.

Lots of great oil and oil related stocks to buy so start your research.

$1.39 in south Texas.

Yep, the next couple of weeks will be interesting. My gut is that we don't go below $27 or $28 but I've been wrong before.

Lol, straight up theft in spite of what Donger spews about it.

How much is a gallon of milk there?

No one in the house drinks milk, so I'm not sure.

But a quart, which I'll get from time to time for baking, is normally around $1.79.

Meh. Gasoline can be had in the area for $2.65/gallon.
