UCF player on the left block (#15?) went after the ball coming off the other side of the rim instead of boxing out his man. Ball gets deflected right to where he was and he's taken himself out of the play. He boxes out and holds his position and he probably ends up with the ball himself. At least that's how I remember it, I'm not watching a replay or anything.

Even the close games have been more memorable for a team pissing away the game versus a clutch big shot or offensive play. Belmont shit themselves, NMSU shit themselves, Wofford's best player disappeared, Iowa ran out of gas and the last play for UCF was unlucky but they did everything they could in the last 90 seconds to lose that game and they got what they deserved.

That's not even the worst case in recent memory. I think it was when Reddick was a freshman or sophomore they had some rat faced ****bag who blatantly stepped out of bounds at the end of a first round game against some **** of a school.

Maybe so but UCF had plenty of chances to win anyway. The botched alley oop, the idiotic foul on Zion and then doubled down by fouling him but not hard enough to miss the bucket, the inability to get a rebound on the Zion miss and then the missed shot and unlucky tip. Unfortunately the big name schools are going to get the calls. It’s a fact that has to be accepted. Either win big and take it out of the officials hands or make a play when you need to down the stretch. Unfortunately UCF wasn’t able to do either.

You beat this Gonzaga team the same way WSU beat that one. Physical, sound play. Gonzaga capitalizes on mistakes, but if you play physically with no mistakes, they're not going to line up and beat you in the half court.

This team is far deeper and has a far more athletic back court than the team WSU spanked, but they don't have the top end player (that long haired pillowbiter who it turns out was soft as shit).
