Mitchell Swartz was an 81 in MUT all season long and didn't get an upgrade until the playoffs. Pissed me off lol because I was running a Chiefs theme team.

I think they corrected that this year, Think I saw him at either an 89 or 91. Those numbers are probably still too low I think he's one of the best in the game.

Ya that seems about par for the course, I don't play MUT mode. I only play Franchise and wish they would allow you to play coop on the same team. That would steer people away from MUT mode though.

I dont think that would steer players away from MUT. MUT is pretty much how they are making their money in the competitive scene. All the big tournies except club series is MUT salary cap.

You buy card packs and build up your team to take on others online, at least I think that's what it is.

you dont have to buy packs, you can do the solo challenges vs cpu or play head to head to earn coins and cards. its like build your own fantasy team.

Will explain to you why MUT is all they care about, it's worth 800 million dollars a year, it's why they don't do shit for anything else.

Ha yea......it was more that after like what 3 seasons? 3 or 4 you guys didn't wanna play with me anymore.

I really don't remember what, exactly, was the issue but there was at least one or two players that refused to play against you. Thought you were cheesing. But, as I told you at the time, I didn't have a problem with the way you played. That being said, you were better than the rest of us and so there wasn't much competition for you. However, I may have given you a run for your money a time or two. :hmmm:

How the hell is Andrew Luck's STR 74 and Mahomes only 69? Since when is Luck able to chuck the rock 85 yards?

Luck is also faster than Mahomes from what I hear, game balancing and all that. I don't believe STR has anything to do with Throw power.

Luck is actually really fast. He's big and strong too. Physically speaking he didn't leave much to be desired at the time he was drafted. In fact, he was probably the most physically gifted QB in the league after Cam Newton.

They really ****ed up when they gave Rivers a 94 rating, which is above Brees at 92. That's just a laughably horrid take.

Lucks 40 time was 4.67 and Mahomes was 4.80 so I guess he's a little faster than Mahomes.

I know he was, thats what is rediculous. they changed a bunch of ratings and now he isnt listed. Gamechangers also making a push to change or have rodgers xfactor removed. not being able to be intercepted by a ai defender is a bit silly and encourages people to throw blind reads into coverage.

we know that. Its still forcing a user to click on to defend a pass and doesnt register correctly every time. not sure if its intended or a latency issue, but its lame either way.

Pretty sure strength has nothing do with arm strength. It's a rather irrelevant stat for QB's.

They have a separate rating for that.

The point is I shouldn't have to go through a game and edit a bunch of ratings because they're ****ed up.

No one thinks Rivers is a top 10 QB let alone one of the top 5. Frank Clark is the highest paid DE in the league yet he's rated like he's alright.

Narrative, the Chargers are hyped once again so Rivers has a high rating....everyone thinks our defense sucks so we trade for Clark and what do you know? He's not rated any better than Ford or Houston is I bet.

Houston is an 87 and Ford is an 84, Lawrence is an 89, Clowney is a 92, Von Miller is a 97, Joey Bosa is an 88, there you go.

one thing I've always hated is when playing as a LB or CB in CFM is I don't get any points for doing my job in the particular play that is called. Specifically in coverage - you could shut down the opposing receiver for doing your job in the play, but get no credit. It's almost like you have to allow the receiver to catch it, THEN tackle him to get any points so you can continue to develop. Same with playing LB; should get points for filling the correct gap or providing contain properly, or running a stunt properly. as it was....you basically had to freelance all over the field to try to get stats, so you could get points, so you could develop. I've always felt that part was badly broken.

Just saw one of my buddies(I think from here Aspen?) is playing Madden Nfl 20 Ultimate Superstar Edition so I guess it's out now.

I typically only ever played superstar modes as QB or RB but the few times I tried as a LB or S were pretty trash. It way overvalued tackles for XP. You're better off freelancing to pad your guy's stats and get XP than you are playing sound, fundamental football.

pretty good stuff here...you can prepare your team for a short week by emphasizing rest vs practice....whatever you chooose has an impact in the game

I just hope that the initial phase of QB1 isn't as long and drawn out as Longshot where there was just too much time sitting and basically watching a movie etc.
