Isn’t that the point? He was offsides when the ball was snapped.

In real time it looked to me like Miller jumped offsides. Didn't initially see him lined up that way. But jumping offsides is actually worse and actually has an impact so missing that is the play that warrants being pissed about, especially right after the Toney call.

Mahomes made a good point about that being a play that didn’t need to be called towards the end of the game. He also referenced that he didn’t complain against the uncalled pass interference last week. Come on, that’s the first time he’s seen that penalty called in his seven years in the NFL. In this instance, they called it on a critical play near the end of the game. That should tell you something. So his opinion is not flat out wrong. He made a valid argument.

Personally, I like to see that fire in him. It’s good for the team. Wish some other key players had that same fire.

I'm sure players look for consistency first and foremost, so I completely get that... if there are pretty much always warnings, it's not something that's ever called, etc; I get their point.

The opposite seems to happen a lot when they let shit go all game and then flags come out in force in the 4th quarter.

That said, I don't really know how Toney didn't realize he was in the neutral zone, given he lined up inside and is that much closer to the ball... it seemed pretty damn obvious and warnings or not, it is still his job and not the refs.

Meh. This team is making constant pee wee mistakes. Refs would not be a factor if we didnt do this shit constantly this year.

Now mahomes is going to get less calls when cheap shotted probably.

That angle makes it tough to see- definitely very close and maybe he wasn’t offsides

Maybe he shouldn't have waited until the 4th quarter of the next game to decide to call-out the officials for being such game steerers?

Sorry, it's time for the Chiefs players, coaches and front office to start being vocal in their own ways and let the NFL know that where there's smoke there's fire.

Never mind, we take our ass-****ings rather nicely. We'll see if Clark announces he'll double any fine the league might put on Jones or Mahomes with with bonuses for great play in the previous game.

This isn’t like Mahomes. Bitching about the refs to Josh Alllen.

LOL, what are they going to do, **** us with shitty and ticky-tac calls while not calling anything except of a couple of "we called penalties on both teams" calls?

He should remind all the officials that they aren't even good enough to be full-time employees. Top it off with calling them reeruned.

Imagine running a business where you know your officiating is horrible, but I an attempt to hide it, you'll make it an infraction to criticize these crews at all, and you'll lose money for doing it.

Let em talk. Refs suck, league ain't gonna do shit about it anyway. So where's the problem in pointing out how ****ing bad your product is. Worst case it leads to *gasp* improving the ****ing officiating.

No, the worst case is the refs double down and continue screwing KC in the games.
