His brain was mashed potatoes by the end... did you ever see him try to be a broadcaster afterward? He could hardly string two sentences together.

That was 95 on Thanksgiving Day. And the Chiefs were not beating the Cowboys during that era.

You obviously didn't watch the game.

We had them on the ropes that game until that fumble in the red zone. Iirc, Bono lost it on a strip sack after a missed block by one of our RB’s.

Not really. The Cowboys went down and scored with ease on the first drive (yes, Irvin pushed off of Dale Carter), but the Cowboys were firmly in control of that game at all points.

Yeah, but Marty was still the head coach. Not a chance.

I agree, way better rushing offense too. I think 95 might have been the year

Of course, but it would have been a bad choice for him.

Montana had the Cowboys number. We'd have won.

He should have just come out of retirement mid-season when we were 7-1.

I don't think that doesn't have anything to do with it. Some people just aren't cut out to be broadcasters. It's not like every great athlete becomes a media guy.

Instead we got ****ing Buffalo and Dallas.

:Lin:

Worst part about it was that w probably would've won that match-up. We were that close.

The Chiefs had absolutely pisspounded Buffalo earlier in the season, too. :banghead:

One big hit in 1995 might have put him away for good.

That hit he took in Buffalo was scary.

Joe doesn't/didn't play well in COLD weather.
