From Chiefs end, he was traded for cap space. |
Yeah that’s an L for Veach. Missed out on free agency for more or less the comp pick we would have gotten for him had he not been tagged
|
Yikes…I knew it would be a low ball deal, but that seems REALLY bad. Oh well, let’s take that money and start filling holes
|
Veach doesn’t make bad trades this will work itself out

Wow.
That's just an awful return. ****ing hell. I'd have just rescinded the tag and hoped he signed in the NFC just to do the guy a solid before I accepted that deal. Thats offensively horrible. |

I thought they lost leverage when they signed Jones after tagging Sneed. I didn’t think they lost this much leverage.
But this was the market and they clearly never had any intention of having Sneed play on the tag. They gambled and lost. If you trust Veach as I do, you move on here. But wow, not satisfying at all. |

This sucks.

Another example of Veach sucking at big name trades. He must've been desperate to unload the tag number, probably to sign a free agent LT.

not great value but it is what it is. When you have the quarterback you just can't pay everyone and we grow DB's on trees here in KC.
