Good for him I guess. Sad we are celebrating guys that make millions putting in work in the offseason though...
|
Just to be clear... The reason people are skeptical is that people acted like he was a good guy in a bad situation in New York because he was on good behavior for a few months. Only to repeat the same behavior that got him traded out of NY in the first place. Real cardinal sins like accusing the team of lying.
So yeah, put the work in young man. Give it a shot. But the leash needs to be very short. As dynamic as he can be it means nothing if you can't trust him on the field. And that's considering we're already doing him a huge solid even though we can never rely on him to stay on the field. We also gave mecole that second shot and although he made a key super bowl winning grab and it was only after he did his damnedest to fart away two of our playoff games. |
Heres a question. What would be a Toney redemption season? 600 yards? More? Less?

We have won two Superbowls since acquiring him, so maybe......

Something like that. 600-800 yds, 5-7 TDs; 35+’1st downs at a bare-ass minimum. Time to put up or get on down the road. He’s either a football player or he’s a rapper pretending to be a football player. |
