Dude, Jose Berrios is a stud.

Look at the numbers in 4 of the last 5 years he’s 140 + innings and will win you 12-14 games with an average era of 3-4. That’s rock solid.

Yeah I wasn’t pleased that they had to give up Austin Martin but you know you have to give up something to get something. Right?

Jay’s needed pitching and I like the fact that he is 27 still young.

The only thing that worries me is he is eligible for arbitration and can become an unrestricted free agent by the end of the 2022 season. So hopefully they could work out a contract with him and lock him up to a long term deal.

I’m all for taking the risk to get that reward. I’m down bro. I think it’s worth a shot! Pitching is numero uno and wins. It has more value than a prospect if it pans out it’s worth more than the prospect if it pans out.

Salvy's thinking, "Man, I wish I got to bat against Lynch". Some are right over the middle.

The Santana thing I don’t get, if there is in fact some real demand for him. Considering the year Pratto is having, you may need that spot open for next year. And it’s not like you don’t have guys that you couldn’t rotate over there. And, Santana, while competent, is not elite defensively by any means.

He’s needed for 500PA next year. Badly. So is Whit. Badly

Martin was always a trade piece, the Jays have so many young players it's questionable where he'd play.

Lynch keeping them close with over 100 pitches.

Another solid game for Lynch. Would have been easy to be overwhelmed in that environment, but he hung in there.

He fought through and kept us in the game until Our Fish guy flopped!

We've been keeping track of this, but tonight Nicky Lopez has passed Whit in OPS. He's closing in on Benintendi and Santana too.

I was thinking, "OK, Royals, 3 runs, 3 outs. Can you do it?"

Then I looked at the batting order

And yet there are so many on this bulletin board that wanted Lopez gone. Just had to give him time to find his stride, he's turned into a really good ball player.
