I actually think this is the best throw he's made all year.

MVS catches that but can't catch a wide open one in his hands. Totally makes sense.

It was nice throw, fairly standard Mahomes stuff in a "typical" year.

The throw to Kelce between 2 defenders right into his hands a few weeks ago was one of his best throws ever.

Oh I'm not saying it's his 'best' throw - he's made better.

I just mean in terms of how he looks in the pocket. He steps into it and throws it with purpose. Strong step into the throw, shoulders come flying through, full finish - just a guy looking in complete control of his instrument.

The MVS throw from Clay is probably right there with it. That's a confident ball thrown with bad intentions. We haven't seen those often enough this year. A ball where you can almost see him thinking "I got you now, ****ers..."

When he's confident in the pocket and moving up, the offense looks pretty good.

Hammock Parties 12-20-2023 05:45 PM

that throw is not being given enough credit

Hammock Parties 12-20-2023 05:50 PM

nor is this one...

Hmm, yeah, that’s like a 25 yard throw from the absolute weirdest angle.

Hammock Parties 12-20-2023 06:01 PM

just the accuracy on that throw is insane given the angle

jjjayb 12-20-2023 10:52 PM

So many throws that would be career highlights for other players that people just stop paying attention to it. It's crazy how accurate he is throwing from these odd angles.

And he has a guy right in his face as he's leaving the pocket. He's just the best qb we've ever seen. He processes every so fast.

Yeah I was following you...His best actual throw of the year was probably that one he squeaked into Kelce over the Raiders defender's shoulder. That was a dime. Or that one he put to Watson on the sideline as he was starting to scramble. That was an extremely difficult pass with almost perfect ball placement.
