Yeah in some ways it's probably not a bad haul... Gallo's under contract for another year so it's not a rental. They got a lot of depth but Rangers fans are definitely not happy, Gallo was a fan favorite, the Rangers have a brand new stadium, and they didn't get any of the Yankees top 10 prospects in return, although it appears the guys they did get seem to be playing well in the minors and are in that 15-30 range.

Not in the trade, but if you go by team rankings, Yankees SS/2B Anthony Volpe is No. 11 in MLB Pipeline and No. 17 in Baseball America. Volpe was just in the top 50 overall for all 30 MLB teams in the Baseball Prospectus and Keith Law midseason updates, and top 100 for Baseball America.
