It's hard to see the Celtics winning a title with Tatum as their best player and Mazzulla as their coach.

I know they're in the semis and are the favorites, but it's still hard to envision it.

They're bad at home, poorly coached, and as clutch as the Raiders in close games.

dirk digler 05-21-2024 08:34 PM

Jinxed 'em in regulation. 5 more minutes.

Miles 05-21-2024 08:38 PM

Rough final shot there

dirk digler 05-21-2024 08:38 PM

That was a horrible decision by Tyrese. OT we go

If you like watching terrible basketball with a ton of choking, this is certainly your series.

Celtics have no business losing a single game to this Pacers team, but I’d agree. They’ll choke out in the Finals yet again regardless of their opponent.

Pacers made Jaylen Brown look clutch.

That's hard to do.

lcarus 05-21-2024 08:40 PM

That certainly looked like a foul on Boston there when Indiana turned it over. Not sure why Indiana didn't just take a timeout there if they couldn't get the pass in.

KC_Connection 05-21-2024 08:47 PM

LMAO at this basketball

KC_Connection 05-21-2024 08:50 PM

Halliburton continues to dribble the ball out of bounds LMAO

Pablo 05-21-2024 08:51 PM

Taintum gets his 9th chance to make a big shot and does.

KC_Connection 05-21-2024 08:52 PM

Best case scenario is unfortunately a sweep for the Celtics here so we don’t have to watch this trash for longer than a week

Single handedly losing the game in the last 30 seconds of regulation and made worse in OT. Losing this game when they had a win locked up if they just don't turnover the ball over and make FT.

Feels like the kind of loss that they won't overcome.

KC_Connection 05-21-2024 08:57 PM

Mazzula challenging this LMAO

WilliamTheIrish 05-21-2024 09:01 PM

That’s a prayer answered for Boston.

dirk digler 05-21-2024 09:01 PM

Pacers will regret this game. All they had to do is make an inbound pass and they win this game.

WilliamTheIrish 05-21-2024 09:02 PM

Fun game to watch. Thought the Pacers had it. Tough loss.

Or not dribble the ball out of bounds repeatedly for no reason. I’d say the Celtics will sweep this series now but they’re capable of some awful basketball at literally any time.

New World Order 05-21-2024 09:15 PM

How did Austin Croshere play?

chiefzilla1501 05-21-2024 09:57 PM

Yeah I'm gonna go with Boston having an easy ass path to the playoffs. There just isn't a good reason for a team with that talent not to be dominating the pacers.

Eh.

They weren't getting past Boston even if they win it, IMO.

Granted, this might've made things more interesting, but absent major injury, Boston's just a much better team.

You are probably right but Boston has been disastrous in Game 2's in the playoffs so far. IF somehow the Pacers didn't choke they could have been looking at being up 2-0 and going back home.

Celtics are just to up and down and alot of that blame goes to Tatum\Brown but I am not fan of their head coach.

I think it's coaching. There's just no way a team with that talent should be struggling to beat a cavs team without mitchell or allen. Or shredding the pacers.

Jokic was trash that lost quarter. Dude needs to work on his conditioning because from what I heard (I didn't see the game) he ran out of steam.

dirk digler 05-22-2024 07:22 PM

Kyrie/Luka going to need some help.

dirk digler 05-22-2024 07:34 PM

Kyrie is dominating. Mavs should be happy only being down 3 at halftime

staylor26 05-22-2024 07:36 PM

Need Washington to start hitting those big 3s he's been hitting all playoffs.

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 07:44 PM

Kyrie having one of those games where he’s motivated and unstoppable. He’ll need to have several to keep this series competitive.

dirk digler 05-22-2024 08:07 PM

McDaniels is having an amazing game. Luka has bricked most of his 3 pt attempts

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 08:19 PM

Using your final challenge in a road playoff game on a jump ball call in the 3rd quarter certainly won’t come back to bite Kidd, right?

smithandrew051 05-22-2024 08:32 PM

It’s amazing that an NBA game in 2024 could have this type of 3 point differential and still be competitive

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 08:33 PM

Luka time

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 08:38 PM

Edwards no showing offensively for the 2nd game in a row. Can’t afford that whatsoever

Coogs 05-22-2024 08:39 PM

So is this a great game we are watching tonight? Or crappy basketball like last night?

dirk digler 05-22-2024 08:40 PM

lol I love Kevin Harlan

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 08:44 PM

Well both teams aren’t choking completely in this one and making ridiculous turnovers every possession, so you do the math

KC_Connection 05-22-2024 08:56 PM

Luka ends it. Twolves need way more out of Edwards and KAT going forward as they got in previous rounds.

The view from above is misleading.

It looks like it’s straight down, but it’s actually at an angle.

It looked like it was out of the cylinder, but it wasn’t actually. The other angles were more clear.

Still like the TWolves here if Edwards gets it together again but you may be right. May not have accounted for Luka and Kyrie’s playoff experience enough

I still had the wolves winning, but think it's 50/50 now.

chiefzilla1501 05-22-2024 09:11 PM

Hell of a game. Didn't go the way I thought it would. Give Dallas their flowers. Minnesota got flat out outcoached and gafford dominated a game where I thought he'd get "out-bigged."

dirk digler 05-22-2024 09:12 PM

Mavs outscored by 36 in the made 3 department. And still won

Luka and Kyrie got little to no help.

Even Washington who's been nails all playoffs didn't play as well as he has been.

If they keep this up and get some help the Wolves might be in trouble.

GeorgeZimZam 05-22-2024 09:17 PM

Helluva run for Dallas teams. With one glaring exception. ROFL

smithandrew051 05-22-2024 09:18 PM

I guess it isn’t rocket science.

When you have two hall of famers, you always have a chance.

They aren’t Shaq and Kobe or Wade and LeBron, but they’re still two great players.

I'm surprised they've made it work. Credit to kyrie that I think he's embraced shutting himself on and off based on when Luka can cook. If he keeps it up they'll be tough to stop. Kyrie was flat last series and Luka had to do way too much heavy lifting last

Watching Kyrie all season long and on the post game show tonight I have to give him props for turning his career around. He was pretty much a team killer for several seasons and he genuinely seems happy now. Hope it continues.

Yeah he’s been the veteran presence the Mavs needed. He’s helped young guys like Lively keep their heads in the game.

Yeah it’s been weird. All the way back to Duke I really never liked watching him play (I will say I was in the Sprint Center when he made Will Spradling look a fool, but that was more enjoying Spradling than Kyrie).

But damn do I like watching him play now. It’s not as spectacular as it was say with Cleveland. But whatever. I am enjoying it way more. And I don’t really have an answer as to why.

It wasn’t just Spradling. He took Jake, a senior, to school. As a frosh.

RealSNR 05-22-2024 10:28 PM

Definitely a worse matchup for the Wolves than Denver. Can't count on Kyrie to be a giant big ol' bitch like Murray.

Got their work cut out for them. Something's gotta change, because Dallas won't be that terrible from 3 all series.
