They almost certainly cannot go toe-to-toe with us. But if they exploit favorable reffing and hold our receivers and Chris Jones every single down, if they consistently get in late shots after the play, if their receivers push off our corners every other down, or mug our receivers off the line, or pick fights with us every down, maybe they can drag us down to their level. The refs will call some of it, but they’re not going to call all of it. And it’s the Steelers anyway, so they may hardly call any of it. Now with all that being said, this is probably the most physical Chiefs team of the Mahomes era, so they’re equipped to deal with that bullshit better than Chiefs teams if the past. So I still don’t think that gives them a good chance to beat us. I’m just trying to think like Tomlin. |
The Steelers really don't have a chance of winning this game barring catastrophic injuries or 4+ fluke turnovers. Our defense matches up really well with what they like to do on offense. If we make tackles, they'll struggle to move the ball.
The Steelers offense is just about the complete opposite of the Bengals offense. Burrow is not afraid to hold onto the ball and take hole shots down the sideline. Ben, on the other hand, just isn't interested in getting hit anymore, so he throws it short pretty much every down. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Ben Roethlisberger Passing Chart <br><br>Roethlisberger limited pressure with quick passes, averaging 2.22 seconds time to throw (22.2% pressure rate).<br><br>Ben has had the quickest time to throw in back-to-back seasons:<br><br> 2020: 2.30 sec<br> 2021: 2.37 sec<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CLEvsPIT?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#CLEvsPIT</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/HereWeGo?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#HereWeGo</a> <a href="https://t.co/7vvzuQ2tdt">pic.twitter.com/7vvzuQ2tdt</a></p>— Next Gen Stats (@NextGenStats) <a href="https://twitter.com/NextGenStats/status/1478230663954321409?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 4, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

You gotta make the LaRue to make the LaGravy

I want Ben to get hit hard and often but stay in the game. I don't know who his backup is but I'd rather not worry about his backup coming in and play better than Ben Rapist. I want Ben to feel pain all game long.

According to Good Morning football we really suck and no one is scared of us. All of the teams that have lesser records and have played weaker schedules are better than we are. We lost to Cincy by three points in their stadium with some questionable calls, but is was a dominating win by Cincy. Holy crap. I know they are trying to stir shit up, but this is just stupid. I hope all of our players watched this show.
