Maybe Burrow just holds the ball top long. Yup that's it. That scrub ass O line sure isn't the reason

Rainbarrel 12-19-2023 06:36 PM

Defenses lean on tape too much, that tape is coming more and more available

Ahhh. I get it now. You don't understand what that means. Clay can help you with that.

And what has changed? This says a ton about QB1 for the Bengals.

It only does in the sense that they've changed the offense to help the QB more with Burrow out. They're under center more, more play action and the running game and screen game has improved as a result.

It's not that they weren't helping Burrow out before, just that he preferred empty sets a lot and threw the ball a lot and that leads to more pressure and sacks. Not being as mobile early didn't help either.

Brownings TTT is 2.77, 21st in the league. Burrow's was 2.47, 3rd in the league.

Mahomes is 2.97

Honestly, Burrow being out is the worst thing that could have happened to every other team in the NFL. The way he played before lead to sacks and hits and somewhat limited the Bengals offense.

Seeing how it runs now will only make him better once he's back in and not missing the reads that Browning is. As well as Browning has been, he's missed several touchdowns on post-snap reads that Burrow doesn't miss.

Huh? Your team is completely irrelevant for the rest of the season and who knows if Joe will ever be the same. Uh oh...

Only one of them takes sacks at a record pace

Relax…you might not be stuck with Guy-who-becomes-Alex-Smith-in-the-playoffs. There has to be a way to void that contract.

Oh dude I'm sorry. I can remember back when we were just a piece off from greatness and always coming up short too.

Relax. When Andy leaves KC he might come help you all out too.

The Bengals have already reached their ceiling.

As soon as one of their receivers leave, it's curtains for the Burrow era.

Their defense has already cratered and will either be the reason they don't make the playoffs, or the reason they go home.

They'll be a decent team but never elite. Ever again. It is their way.

Lots of juicy stuff to come back to at the appropriate time.
