Btw.... How did the 49ers **** up so bad on their stadium. Look at the stadiums opened the last 10 years and then look at their. Arrowhead was built 40+ years ago and still looks better

Seriously look at this shit.

That pathetic QB running back is already 0-2 vs the Chiefs, and we stole the Tomahawk Chop and made it better.

You're welcome.

Neither the city nor the state cares. All the suites will be sold. All the sponsorships will be accounted for. The unsold tickets will be bought up by gambling companies. This stadium is nothing more than a draw for tourists to come to Las Vegas for a weekend. Nobody gives a crap whether the Raiders ever win a game there.

It has to be annoying for the players though. Maybe there's a reason why the Chargers always underperform.

Good to hear! My front row seats will be comfortable. Vegas will be a good time for any fan of any team.

Hyperion 01-07-2020 03:27 PM

It'll be interesting to see how the Raider fanbase evolves after the move. I'm not in California or Nevada, but there are tons of Raider fans where I live. They're all pretty pissed about not being able to tailgate.

I suspect they'll do well with Vegas locals as people who move to Vegas tend to have pride in it. However if they lose on the field and the hockey team continues to win then people might not give a damn.

It'd be funny if the Raiders became somewhat white-collar.

Watching the Pats lose is one of the joys of life. It's kinda surreal to think the Titans might have closed them out lol.

If the Titans don't win it all then I'd like to see the Chiefs take it. Their fans deserve it and Andy Reid has paid his dues although one day he'll figure out how to manage the end of game scenarios.;)

Can't travel out of state when they're on probation or parole.

Very true. Some of the folks at the bar tonight were saying that they were planning on going every year and while they went to the game their wives would do Vegas things.

That might work..

The Ravens were the first team to beat the Redskins in Fedex Field, the Titans in Adelphi Field, the Steelers in Heinz Field, the Broncos in new Mile High, the Jets in Metlife Field and the last team to beat the Cowboys in old Texas Stadium, and the last team to play at the Super Dome before Hurricane Katrina.

The Buccaneers were the first team to beat the Eagles in Lincoln Financial Field.

The Titans were the first team to beat the Giants in Metlife Stadium.

If anyone is interested, you can look up more, I'm sure the Chiefs have some on their resume.

How do you know The Broncos are the 1st game in Vegas?

RINGLEADER 01-08-2020 10:43 PM

In Vegas for CES and asked my cab driver about how they’re going to manage traffic on game day. He told me it’s going to be a clusterf*** as they were supposed to take a golf course adjacent to the stadium and turn it into parking spaces. Unfortunately, while the city approved the plan to buy the course for this purpose, the guy who owns it was convicted of some federal crimes and the income from the golf course is going to repay a sizable debt owed to the feds. So they don’t want to let go of the golf course revenue. As a fallback the Raiders have gotten small parcels and will be shuttling people to games from all over the city. Even the roads from the strip won’t be refitted into walkways in time.

Not sure how true any of this is, but he talked like he knew his stuff. It was interesting to hear nonetheless.

Also the locals name for the stadium is “the Death Star.”

TinyEvel 04-26-2020 04:39 PM

April 24 drone footage of roof etc. I really wonder if there will be fans at NFL games in 2020. God, I hope so.

Surley a construction worker or two buried a Chiefs flag at the 50 yard line.

**** the Raiders and their new stadium.

It's comical that it's named after one of the airlines with the worst safety records of all time.

It`s looking like a sweet badass stadium but I have to agree. I have a friend of mine who is an air traffic controller in Vegas and he told me years ago he would never allow himself, family or friends to ever get on board an Allegiant Airline. There is a big reason their airfare is super cheap lol

I don’t support the Raiders because they are a rival of the Kansas City Chiefs, which is my favorite professional football team.

Also, the Chiefs made the playoffs and won all of their playoff games last season, which resulted in the Kansas City Chiefs being the Super Bowl Champions of the National Football League. Since they are my favorite team, I was happy with this result.

While the Chiefs were playing in the Super Bowl (which they won), Derek Carr was sitting around thumbing his nuts and thinking about that time that Antonio Brown was his friend.

**** the raiders!

I hope we're not the first team to play there because I have a gut feeling the roof or the stadium itself collapses. Let the Broncos go first.
