He could well become Joe The Fumbling Burrow with this injury and his tiny hands.

His tiny hands were a concern when he came out of college, now he could be having possible strength issues in that tiny hand.

:hmmm:

Will it be like the 1-4-4 Peyton game?

CP doctors don't exactly have a good track record

Like when CP said kelces microfracture surgery was a career derailer.

Just curious: is this the same Dr. that was sure Pat was going to be out for a couple months/rest of the year when he dislocated his knee? Because these twaddle docs don’t have a very good record of being accurate.

Mahomes took some big shots in the Baltimore game that looked more dangerous than the hit taken against Jacksonville in the playoffs last year.

He got hurt during a QB sneak of all things.

Trent Green took a cheap shot and was injured while Orlando Pace was his LT.

I'd love for us to have the best pass blockers around Mahomes to minimize big hits, but he could get injured doing literally anything on the field. Its a dangerous sport.

I still don’t understand how you can get such severe injury from simply running on the field. Bad angle? Something to do with the grass? Too much force?

Good thing they have Browning.

No doubt. I have always liked Browning. He is definitely a starter in this league.

It was a ticking time bomb. He’d been battling tendinitis in that heel already.

It's a good story, but highly doubtful in my mind.

You think Burrow's over there thinking, "yup, better hang up my cleats."

**** no.

it's like a fraying rope, tendinitis, then it just goes.

Bengals have Carson Palmer 2.0

Bill have Cam Newton 2.0

Ravens have Vick 2.0

All have such short windows that KC may dominate the AFC for a decade due to a lack of longevity in the competition

Let’s see how Stroud and the Texans play out.

Injuries like that can happen off of nothing if the process started. Like for a regular person if you consistently have sore achillies tendon issues or you step back and it hurts at times you should be very careful if you decide to play pickup basketball you could blow your achilles.

In all reality you could tear your achillies walking across the living room if you have damaged it, and fraying rope is a solid comparison.

Brilliant.

Heyyyyy remember that Superbowl (55) we lost because Eric Fisher couldn't play?

The entire line was decimated, even if Fisher played we would've lost.

I broke the scaffoid (navicular) bone which is the bone right next to the one they are discussing here. No joke. I had a cast on for 16 weeks and the X-ray said it still hadn't healed due to the low blood flow. Some days I'd never know I had ever broken it and some days it feels paralyzed for minutes at a time and I cant even hold a pencil.... usually depending on weather. Cold wet days are the worst.
