When does a trade request start to enter into the minds of Whit and Salvi?

Hudler spraying tons of pixie dust today. To say the least, he's the right man for that job.

LMAO Wow!

I watched Mortal Kombat today. I feel that the R’s should be forced into some life or death struggle to where they just magically obtain a gift or upgrade that forces them to win. This has been a loooooooong week.

.500 team that just came back to the mean.

We're lining the ball all over the park against this ****.

Chiefspants 05-09-2021 02:04 PM

This team has shaky pitching and average defense, I think we all figured that going into the season. To be competitive, the offense has to produce and be in the top 10 in the league.

This team is just not gonna do much if Soler, Merrifield, Dozier, and Santana are all slumping at the same time.

White Sox have hit quite a few this series that have hit the chalk and been fair.

Nightfyre 05-09-2021 02:39 PM

This game feels like everythign the white sox hit has eyes, and everything the Royals hits is magnetized to a glove.

Time to clean house, Holland and Davis are done. I understand the desire to try to turn the clock back to 2014/15 however it isn't working.

Looking forward to the off day tomorrow so I'm not making myself crazy over how bad they look. This is back to the pathetic years where they were losing 100 games a year and were just B A D.

Dude, they signed those guys to minor league deals. They were lottery tickets.

Until and unless the Royals are willing to shell out serious money for quality pitching, this is what you're going to get until this next wave of draftees are ready for the big leagues. And even then, there's no guarantee they'll win anything.

And the Royals lost 100 games in 2019. The only reason they didn't lose 100 games in 2020 is because they didn't play a full season.

Being a small market team is tough; unless they can fall into another deal like they did in 2014/15, it's going to be difficult for this team to compete with the teams with an unlimited budget on payroll.

It's not that they lose, it's that they aren't even competitive. It's hard to watch.

I don't think the Royals need to compete with the Dodgers, Phillies, Red Sox and Yankees of the world in terms of payroll to to be competitive, but bargain-bin shopping isn't going to win any thing of note, either.

At least they're smiling and laughing. I suppose there's a silver lining in the dark cloud there...

Titty Meat 05-09-2021 03:15 PM

Its just a bad stretch for a team that overachieved in April. No need to freak out.
