Never heard of FECO. I did go buy some cbd gummies. Eating them 1/2 at a time. Not sure yet if it helps, seems to be better. Is FECO legal in Kansas?

I mean, just go ahead and put a bullet in my head if I ever had to seriously consider that.

Very sorry to hear, Wizard. Best of luck on a speedy recovery. Hope you find the pain relief you need.

Same thing right now with the back. Ice Pack and Heat pad along with pain meds (They suck). That's about all I got.

Holladay 05-17-2022 09:57 PM

I dunno what to say.

I shattered my ankle and for 48 hrs, with an ace bandage, ice with Tylenol 3, I put the pain in a box in my head. Then put it in the back of my mind. Not saying it worked, but helped.

It took a lot of energy to keep it at bay. After surgery, they put me on Hydro, which didn't dent it much. Then oxi which did a bit. I went back to my box.

After a month, I came out the other side. I have an addictive personality and sure didn't want to get hooked on oxi. I quickly quit the oxi and went back to my box.

Pain is mental. Not easy, but an idea.

Join your local CrossFit gym and do the most ridiculous scaled down version of everything. Do it through dull pain but not sharp. Keep showing up and don’t get hurt.

God's speed to feeling better.
Falls are no joke as we get older.

I am worried about painkiller addiction, I already drink enough beer to bankrupt a brewery!

I wonder if one of those ass donuts would help. I know it helped me on my tailbone which is one bone lower. I road down a rocky bluff in Weston Mo about above the Missouri River for 50 to 80 feet till I grabbed a 3-inch sapling to stop my slide. About 3o feet down the incline a felt pain then fire like a branding iron at the area of the tail bone. That was a painful climb down and walk back to the truck sitting and driving back to the office was even worse.

That took forever to heal it seemed Just Tylenol and an ass ring Naproxim Sodium was still by prescription then I believe.

Good luck

My wife fell down a flight of stairs. She swore by that "ring". You can't cast it. It took months to get better.

This used to work years ago:

Pick yourself up.

Dust yourself off.

Start all over again. (I think "dust yourself off" might have been slang for something)

Taking opioids for more than 3 consecutive days is just asking for huuuuge trouble. I've had 10 major sports-related surgeries, and I bail on the pain meds after 3 days no matter what. Weed helped in my case, or at least helped me mentally block out the pain. Good luck, hope you heal fast!

Sacrum kills me when I sit or lay, xyphoid kills me when I swallow food. Most stabbing pain EVER. I would rather not take anything illegal. Meds are not doing the trick. :banghead:

Weed

Weed is fine depending on your blood pressure
In my condition, 1 hit of good shit and I pass out and wind up in the er. Even edibles will drop my blood pressure even more the next day
It’s a bitch, but that’s how I have to roll
I have a stash that would make your eyes bleed
