I watched a ton of college games with JuJu, he played with Darnold and even with that he never looked dominant.
He looked like a guy who would have a nice career as a #2 receiver, he struck me as a guy who would be reliable and consistent but not a gamebreaker. Like honestly if you wanted me to compare him to someone...I thought he would be somewhat like Amani Toomer. |
1st round "grade".
1st round "pick". Two different things. Meanwhile ... as life goes on and the seasons unfold, I am more convinced than ever that most GMs are idiots. FAX |
Curious to see how Smith Schuster does now that he's the bonafide #1.

But he's a pretty friggen great route-runner and I just didn't see that element of his game being so good that it would overcome what is relatively pedestrian athleticism for an NFL WR. He'll still be good, yeah - the Steelers rarely make mistakes at WR. But I think the Steelers will notice more of a drop-off with their passing game than they expected. AB was still extremely good in his own right and made things much easier for JuJu. |

I like JuJu a lot, but he also played across from a guy who led the NFL in receiving TD's and had his usual 1,000 yard season. Be interesting to see how he does w/o Brown on the other side. His numbers may go up (due to more targets), but his effectiveness may go down. More boom or bust type performances. He will get double teamed a LOT, more than likely. We'll see, I guess . . . . . |

It was funny because she had no idea who the guy was and he really was just as nice and normal as could be. He eventually moved on but he never really got aggressive or slimy. Just said she was hot, asked her what she was up to and after a week or so that was that. I always kinda figured if a dude like that was out trolling instagram his first message would be "Hey, I'm an NFL superstar - wanna ****?" Nope, he tossed a line out there, waited to see if she'd be more aggressive and when it just kinda hovered at light flirting he moved along. It was shockingly normal. |
He's going from Antonio Brown starting opposite of him to Donte Moncrief as of now. Yikes.

AB was an outstanding complement to him, a great player who's strengths helped offset some of JuJu's weaknesses. An offense could be geared around what both guys did well and each could have their own niche. Moncreif, OTOH, is just a shittier version of JuJu. They aren't dovetailing skill-sets at all. I didn't realize that was who they replaced AB with. I figured they had some waterbug they were looking to get more reps. Yikes. |
