Would've needed to give up more than a 5th given the likelihood that Detroits pick was simply more valuable than ours.
On the flipside, his salary would've been irrelevant this season as he'd have come without any guaranteed money and could've easily been cut if he didn't work out.
Yeah, not getting Harrison probably hurt. But so did not getting Boston or a slew of other potential contributors. Or firing Sutton.
There's no question that the team was just too focused on making what they had in-house work. They could've/should've been even more aggressive.
