Lakers start out hot but Nugs close out the half only down by 4. Has the same feels as the other games.

Sure but look at AD. 0 pts in the 4th in Game 2 and 1 pt tonight in the 4th.

This game is over now

AD went 33, 15 and 3 and LeBron went 24-5-8, both on great efficiency. They're just getting absolutely nothing from anybody else (Reaves and Russell in particular are completely sucking compared to their regular season numbers) and that's been the case all series.

The GOAT is going to spend a quarter of his career in LA and retire there while winning 2 titles for them and you think the Lakers aren't going to do that for him?

AD is a Top 10-15 player and goes 0 points and 1 pt in the most important quarter but it is DLO's fault. Yeah he isn't very good but to win in the NBA you need your superstar's to show up when it counts.

Also where is the blame for Darvin playing DLO?

If your expectation is for AD to get 40+ points every game, you're gonna be disappointed. He's never been that kind of player. He's honestly been quite impressive in this series overall in terms of his effort too (averaging 32 points and 13 REBs on 61% shooting while trying to guard the best offensive big ever).

And yeah, you absolutely need more from your alleged #3 scorer (18 PPG average this year) in Russell than zero points and perpetual awful performances in the playoffs if you're ever gonna beat that team.

And who would you suggest Ham play over Russell anyway? Their bench players suck too. They need him to show up in these games given their lack of secondary scoring and he just doesn't do it.

Michael Jordan never lost 7 straight playoff games to anyone.

MJ was also never swept in a 7-game series.

Michael Jordan remains the unquestioned greatest, most consistent playoff performer in sports history.

Nobody today comes remotely close.

I agree AD has played great early in the games but my expectation is like any other superstar is to show up in the important moments. AD has no showed 2 4th quarters in a row, took 1 shot in Game 2 and 2-3 shots last night. That is unexpectable for a superstar.

All I am saying he needs to share in the blame along with DLO and Ham and probably others. Lebron has done what he can do.

I know it’s easy to shit on the lakers and im not a fan, but they haven’t played bad basketball. They’ve actually been playing really well. Denver is just really that good. When Murray goes off, they’re unstoppable and when he doesn’t and porter steps up? Sheesh!

And of course there’s no doubt who the mvp is.

I'm convinced Jokic is playing some of the best basketball that's ever been played, period. His display against AD down the stretch of game 2 was absolutely ridiculous.

it's just a horrid matchup for LA.

It's a tough matchup for most teams. But the Lakers are built through AD in the post-season and when you build your team around size then run into a team with the best big man in a quarter century, you're probably gonna lose.

They do what LA does but better.

The team that beats them, if a team beats them, will be a team that does something different and executes it at a slightly higher level than Denver does.

To go to football, that's been Buffalo's problem. They tried to build a team a lot like KC, but KC is just better at being that team than Buffalo is. Miami has a smiilar problem (especially now that KC appears to be gearing its offense in a similar manner to Miami).

Now the good news for Buffalo and Miami is that its 1 and done. Weird things happen in single-game elimination.

But man, in a 7 game series you're really drawing dead if you are built like your opponent and your opponent is just better at it than you are. You're not gonna steal 4 games. You MIGHT steal 2. But you're still going home.

This was a death matchup for LA the moment it was set. I just didn't see a reasonable path through it for them.

Let's pretend the Warriors do a swap of Draymond for Rudy in the middle of their prime. Surely they win just as many rings as they did before, yeah?

That's what you get. Donovan Mitchell was the best player on those Jazz teams. If that's the best your team can do, I'm sorry, but THAT'S why you're destined to lose. That and their team wasn't as deep as the Wolves are.

The Wolves are a way better team than the Jazz were with Rudy. You're being a lazy dipshit by comparing the two, and the Wolves losing to Denver isn't any more a confirmation of your point.

Also, I'll bet the Wolves take the Nuggets further into the series than the Thunder do.

Is Kawhi going to be back soon?

Kawhi looked atrocious in the games he played. I'd expect they'll play the rest of the series without him and hope for the best. He wasn't helping them here playing hurt.

PJ Tucker is still on an NBA roster. Seems like it’s been a long time since he was at Texas.

Then, you realize LeBron is older than him.

Ridiculous.

Raptors drafted him in the 2nd round in 2006 (3 years after LeBron's draft) and I remember being invested in him as a prospect because I'd actually seen him play in college.

Hard to guard Harden with multiple guys in foul trouble knowing he’s going to flop like a bitch after minimal contact and more than likely get the call.

Valiant comeback but hard to win after being down 30.

Suns suck. Shocker.

That Bradley Beal trade is gonna go down as an all-time bad decision

KC Hawks 04-28-2024 10:42 PM

It was bad for PHX the instant it happened.

ChiefsFanatic 04-29-2024 01:12 AM

Is it true that Anthony Edwards is Michael Jordan's kid? I saw something where MJ said he was banging a lot of women, and he thinks he has several children out there he doesn't know about, and he hinter that one of them is in the NBA.

AD goes down, that’ll do it for this game/series.

Yea, they can't win without their best player.

Hamwallet 04-29-2024 09:30 PM

AD is such a whimp

Agreed. AD is the best post defender in basketball and the only thing preventing Denver/Jokic from absolutely destroying them.

Garcia Bronco 04-29-2024 09:37 PM

Well.... Nugs better get something going quick.

KC_Connection 04-29-2024 09:45 PM

Is there a reason Ham didn’t call timeout during that massive Nuggets run

Garcia Bronco 04-29-2024 09:54 PM

No idea. Hopefully the Nugs can win the fourth quarter and get out of this series.

Will be the toughest matchup they play all playoffs, but it looks like it won’t be without cost based on Murray’s injury
