Hopefully Saul showing that sliver of Jimmy in the last episode comes back in the finale. Assuming he gives himself up and saves Jim in the process. I have no idea though which makes this exciting.

I just don’t think it is man. Jimmy had a gun held to his head with seconds away from getting killed before Mike saved his ass in the bag Man episode. Jimmy was even in shock over the whole thing dealing with the cartel and their extremely dangerous lifestyle and he still decided that it was fine to get involved with that after nearly dying and losing Kim.

He isn’t changing

I'll give El Camino a shot then got a viewing.

Thanks

Yeah, I was hoping he might... absolutely can't wait for this finale and if he survives

Last episode tonight.

Does Vince Gilligan stick the landing again?

Just got home and put my horses up and haven't read any farther! Carol just called his plates in...

I liked it. Didn't have the dramatic flair of the BB ending but was professionally done and satisfying and real and honest.

I'm really curious whether I'm on an island with this take. But it was such a terrific show and it ended in a way I'm not remotely surprised or disappointed by. And that leaves me satiated.

He didn't.

I think the series landed well.

He had decided he would work his butt off to get his sentence reduced as much as possible and had succeeded.
Then he finds out Kim had fully confessed.
Then on the plane he finds out Kim was civilly exposed from Howard's widow who wanted some justice.
He orchestrates a new hearing, arranges to have Kim present, and then falls on his sword - so that Howard's widow will have a sense that someone is paying a price for his death and maybe leaves Kim alone.
He becomes a prison celebrity.

Thought it was great. I already miss this show.

Looking back, there were various moments in the last few seasons and early in this season when I thought the show was on the verge of jumping the shark. But not only did it never happen, I think the last several episodes might be the strongest of the series. They came through.

Lame

Bravo, Vince
