I just can’t believe that not only is Pat our QB, but that people with his gifts exist.

He really is like a damn alien or something. He just throws the ball with such ease. Just flicking the ball around 40 yards while he’s shooting the shit is a spectacle.

Yeah, I watch Derwin James go out there and do something incredible and thing "dammit! Why can't we have that guy..."

Then I punch myself in the face because we have that guy only better and in the most critical position in sports. Oh, and Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, who are also guys you'd build in a lab if you could.

So I have to chill out a little...

Not as a CB, but as a returner. He'd get traded for a player that would be getting cut anyway, but it's a way to get around the waiver process similar to the Ehinger/Ward deal.

Oh, I thought he was talking something of value. If we're just talking about exchanging our bucket of shit for another teams I guess that could happen.

I think the most under the radar player in camp has to be Khalen Saunders. From reports, he was dominating 1v1 drills against the 2nd team a few days ago.

I really have to wonder if the Chris Jones talk might be because they got this kid and were completely not expecting him to be available when they picked him?

Smart money might be to see how Saunders and Jones play this season. If Saunders plays well and gets 5 or 6 sacks, that might make Jones a bit expendable.

We never know who they are (who was on Ward before we acquired him?), but they're out there.

And no, they're not going to be any safer bets than someone like Wade, but it may turn out that they're just better than the last CB on the roster. So turn over rocks and try to find 'em. Maybe you get another solid player for your efforts.

It's a better idea than trying to make Tremon Smith a RB, IMO.

He’s a running back in name only, I think. He’ll make the team as Andy and Dave’s weapon/toy.
