I'm probably going with a brand new build featuring the 4080 in the first part of 2023, but these prices are freaking insane right now and very tempting.

Might even get better, especially if you don't mind getting a used one. 3080TI is pretty much a 3090 minus the extra vram.

They keep dropping now that the miners seem to have had their fill and more chips are also coming out of China.

With RTX 4000 series and AMD RDNA 3 series upcoming, I'd have to imagine they'll continue to drop for a little bit here and settle in.

FYI... Microcenter KC is currently having some pretty crazy sales. But it requires a mailer coupon. If you have access to it though, you can get some crazy cheap deals. They are already dropping, and it does have some to do with crypto. Now to be fair over last two years miners have been moving off GPUs to more cost effective hardware.

But I assume the real drop is coming from demand. I believe the demand curb has nose dived over last 12 months.

I have a 1070ti and I would be hard pressed to buy Nvidia right now. The 6750 XT is pretty tempting to me.
