If one defines "worship" in terms of time, money, and energy spent, there's zero question that sports fans are WAY further into the "worship" category than fans of a musician. There's a reason why a segment of the population rolls their eyes at sports fans in general.

But more broadly, I just don't understand why anyone cares how others choose to express their enjoyment of something. Your choice (how) to be a fan.

It's an interesting topic for sure.

Like anything online it becomes watered down. If it helps one person is it a good thing? Sure. Can it be toxic like every thing else online? Sure.

No I am not upset about anything I just think it's corny to to air out past relationships on social media. You don't necessarily need therapy to learn how to boss up and handle your business. It's called growing up and being an adult

I don't think I ever said that. You seem to be coming at this in a kind of condescending tone perhaps I'm misreading you. Does one really need a therapist to know that hey maybe broadcasting an old relationship maybe isn't the best idea in the world?
