When will people learn not to trust these reports? This is yet another example of the media being completely full of shit with a Rodgers report.

I have no idea whether or not the reports are true. I'm just responding to the people that say the Packers can't afford it.

They can. As can any other team that really wants him.

Oh I wasn’t referring to you at all buddy!

But we now know this report is bullshit because Rodgers confirmed it’s bullshit.

Unless Rodgers is going to be a douche like LeBron was when he did that stupid ass announcement going to Miami, I don’t see him leaving.

The interesting thing is I could totally see Rodgers doing that.

The situations aren’t remotely comparable.

Lebron was a free agent.

Rodgers would be announcing that he’s demanding a trade, which takes it to another level entirely.

It’s not happening.

Rodgers has taken it much further.

LeBron had one night of drama. Which took place after he was a free agent.

Aaron Rodgers was under contract when he leaked, on draft night, that he wanted to be traded. He then skipped all of the offseason workouts until they lopped off the final year of his deal. Ever since he has been entirely non-commital when asked if he was going to come back. He's been doing this for nearly an entire year.

Rodgers may go back to Green Bay, but I don't think he went through all of this for nothing. There is a very good chance he doesn't come back.

Honestly, how in the world do you twist things so much,? You just don't get the obvious. "All THIS" was not for nothing. It's EXACTLY the thing a drama douche does. It IS the end game. He was NEVER going to leave Green Bay, but he always was going to stir shit up. And you were always going to fall for it, because you're so desperate.

People forget he has no power yet. They dont have to do anything. He would have to retire or play for them in 2022. Thats his real optionz.

It’s all coinciding with what Rodgers wants.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Packers have created $3.08M in 2022 cap space by converting $3.85M of RB Aaron Jones&#39; 2022 compensation into a signing bonus and adding two void years, per source. <br><br>Green Bay has now created nearly $14M in cap space over the past two days, with more moves ahead.</p>&mdash; Field Yates (@FieldYates) <a href="https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1496841462218039298?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 24, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

More moves to create space. Their cap problem will be fine before the deadline.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Another one: the Packers have converted $11.58M of LT David Bakhtiari&#39;s 2022 compensation into a signing bonus, creating significant cap space for this season, per source. <br><br>A busy week for the Packers&#39; cap continues.</p>&mdash; Field Yates (@FieldYates) <a href="https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1497589468563492874?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 26, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Rodgers new deal will likely take his $46 million 2022 cap hit down to like $25 million. They’ll save a shit Los of money doing that alone

You're going to end up paying out the ass for a meddling game manager QB like Jimmy G, or drafting more defense and sticking with your shitcrap at QB.

How does it feel to be betrayed like this? You were promised glory through the #Patonplan and now it all turns out to be a random asshole who gave Kirk Cousins two mega millions deals and is about to do the same in Denver.

Your GM is a powerless dweeb who will do nothing better than tread water for awhile.

Yea, no way an unhappy pro athlete could ever force the hand of management once he had signed a contract.

According to Over The Cap, Green Bay is currently ($30,402,970) over the cap.

Spotrac has Green Bay at $-28,251,758.

The Packers already have 10 starters set to become free agents and they're going to have to cut at least one of the Smith bros, if not both.

Even if the Packers could squeeze Rodgers' and Adams' contract under the cap, why would Rodgers want to come back to a depleted team?

RunKC 03-05-2022 01:00 PM

At least this douche will finally make a decision soon. He sure loves the attention

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Today Packers LT David Bakhtiari is getting married in California. Aaron Rodgers is set to officiate it. Matt LaFleur will be there. Rodgers is likely to tell the Packers what he wants to do by Tuesday afternoon. Timing is kinda wild.</p>&mdash; Michael Silver (@MikeSilver) <a href="https://twitter.com/MikeSilver/status/1500159668546457601?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 5, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

RunKC 03-05-2022 01:08 PM

Also interesting is per CBS sports radio if Rodgers decides he does want to be traded the Packers are demanding for more than the Stafford trade value bc Rodgers is a back-to-back MVP.

Stafford deal was valued at 3 first rd picks and a 3rd. Giving up more than that would decimate the Broncos future
