There is a precedent to this, back for the 2012 All-Star game with the Billy Butler/Robinson Cano thing. KC fans thought it was warranted and funny as hell, national media pegged it as "disrespecting the event" and "sad"...despite the SAME THING happening the prior year in Arizona and the next year in New York (of course, those were laughed off as "healthy rivalry")
Fortunately, it was quickly forgotten and most of the country doesn't even remember it. |
