The First Power (1990)
The Baby (1973)
Chinatown Nights (1929)
The Peach Thief (1964)
The Secret of Magic Island (1956)
Pixote (1981)

The first episode of "The Expanse."

Up next:

Valter brani Sarajevo (1972)
The Rapture (1991)
Lo straniero (1967)

And, if I have time, I might give "The Night Manager" a shot. Not a big fan of most modern tv shows, so my expectations aren't very high.

Mennonite TV viewer?

I watched The Rapture this morning. It featured this:

Then I watched:

The Thing (1982)
The Remains of the Day (1993)

I'm about to watch:

Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987)

I don't really think the preachy feel was on purpose though. I think they just needed a plot line for the story, and didn't realize it would come off like that. I enjoyed the movie. Definitely some funny moments.

The wife and I saw Popstar: Never stop never stopping.

It was surprisingly funny.

Concussion was much better than I expected.

The level of corruption was incredible. Scary, really.

May have to check that out.

Could be bad, but I dig the lineup and premise, and there was good buzz from the festivals

Wish I could agree, that movie was awful and I was furious I dropped 12 bucks on that garbage. If Samberg wanted to save that movie he needed to have more Bill Hader scenes. The Flatliners scene was the only thing funny in the whole movie.

Really? Hmmm......I thought it was much funnier than most of the over the top comedies.

I have no doubt about what is in the box. It is what was taken from him.
Spoiler!

Cool Coen movie, written while they experienced writer's block for another movie (Miller's Crossing). Once that was done, they filmed Barton Fink.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was actually pretty entertaining. I was expecting normal Tina Fey goofball comedy, but it was a decent story.

Just got home from The Conjuring 2. I think it's better than the first one, and I really liked the first one. I'd def recommend.
