He will cost less picks. Much more importantly, unlike Ramsey, he's a short term bandaid. Veach has purposefully been signing guys to 2-3 year deals knowing mahomes will soak up a ton of cap. Ramsey will be a very tough cap squeeze but Peterson fits perfectly. Peterson fits a lot more of what we want to do than Ramsey does. Even if he's not anywhere near who he was, I'm sure he's still good and a hell of a lot better than who we have

Not trading him before Thursday nite could be a **** up for all parties if the guy gets hurt..

Then it won’t be the Chiefs.

That was my point. I think it’s down to the Eagles and Chiefs.

Why does everyone think this?

We traded for Clark and literally 15 mins after that extension was announced

Because everyone that has Chiefs inside source type stuff says they won't?

Nah. Now, if Veach fails to acquire a talented CB in this market where there's been a handful available I'm going to be pretty irritated.

Just a hunch based on all of the reports.

Who's to say that isn't bullshit?

How many people said there was no way we could do Frank Clark cause PR and money?

Seems to be the two teams that make the most sense. Both have a huge need at corner. Both are winning teams that can keep him happy.

No I mean why do people keep saying we can't pay him?

It's not the number, it's who's saying it.

When Terez and Chadiha are saying what they're saying, they probably hear it straight from the Chiefs.

pugsnotdrugs19 09-18-2019 10:27 AM

I don’t want him in Philly. They’re already loaded.

Oh I’m not saying we can’t pay him. I just don’t think we will based on the reports as well.
