He will cost less picks. Much more importantly, unlike Ramsey, he's a short term bandaid. Veach has purposefully been signing guys to 2-3 year deals knowing mahomes will soak up a ton of cap. Ramsey will be a very tough cap squeeze but Peterson fits perfectly. Peterson fits a lot more of what we want to do than Ramsey does.
