You mother****er, I will fight you right now!

OK, I'm sorry.

I've just been jumping into these ****ing Newegg raffles every goddamn day for like 4 months straight, and every mother****ing time "Fish, you weren't selected. We wish we had more inventory..." blah blah **** you guys. This is despite the fact that Newegg has been cashing in on the shortage by only offering combo selections..

Congrats on your stupid awesome purchase of a really nice version of the 3070... bitch.

:cuss: :D :toast:

I've been working up in Chicago since the beginning of the year and they have two MicroCenters there. I've been checking their CPU and GPU stock almost daily.

In the last three weeks there has been an uptick in AMD GPUs coming in. Mostly 6700 and 6900xt. Holy cow the prices though. The 6900's are priced between $2000 and $2500.

I'm not in the GPU market currently, I'm looking to upgrade my travel pc from FM2+. Waiting for a nice open box CPU to pair with a 2080ti. I don't really need to upgrade, my A10 Kavari and 2080ti kills everything I throw at it. Probably the most demanding things I do are Anno 1800 and Madden at 1080 on hotel TV's. I just love bargain shopping. I'll probably end up getting a 10400f.

I've actually had great luck with GPU purchases.

Right before the pandemic started I bought an open box 5700xt for $300 and an open box EVGA black 2080ti for $800.

Then when I was home visiting my Mom for Christmas, on a whim, we drove to MicroCenter in Overland Park on Christmas Eve. I was about 12th in line when they opened. Everyone in front of me was buying 3070's and when I got to the counter the only thing they had left was a Asus ROG Strix AIO water cooled 6800xt for $900. I bought it with a big smile on my face.

Definitely not a top of the line card but middle of the road you can get a RTX 2060 for $390 on Woot.com. I haven't been keeping an eye on prices as of late but that seemed pretty good for last time I looked and I know the step up to the 2070 is about 3 times that cost currently.

My bad... I was thinking RTX 3060... not the 2060.

Here's a RTX 3060 Ti 8GB at Best Buy for $399. Much better specs.

RTX 3060 12GB at Newegg for $459.

Prices across the board are settling back down to MSRP. Most places have tons of cards in stock right now.

That 2060 at Woot is a ripoff compared to the 3060TI or the 3060OC.

Your reply was confusing as hell. I had to read it again several times before realizing what you meant.

Microcenter had plenty of 3060 - 3080tis in stock and the entire lineup of AMD cards yesterday.

Why are cards going down in price?

I'm very happy about it, but damn.

Are they going down? My EVGA is within $100 of what I paid for it in August, Still over $1900 and I've paid off most of it already in mining.
