Those gifs are unreal. His talent level far exceeds anything we have had under center... Sorry Trent...

I liked trent, but his actual talent and natural ability is not even close to mahomes.

There has never been a QB with this much talent in KC unless it was a visiting team.

It's beyond belief that we finally have a QB and I'm still alive to see it.

I'm so happy for you, me and all the other jaded assholes. We deserve this. I feel like a newborn baby.

it took trent three years for me to become a fan. it took three years for me to be down on alex (i predicted alex would be a chief the week he lost his job to kaep.).

it's taken me three weeks to be a fan of mahomes. (i thought kc should have picked trubisky, even with his limited playing time).

i still hope alex does well, but shit on me once, shame on you, do it twice, or thrice... :D

Trent was a great leader out there, a team player and played his heart out.

With that said- Mahomes is just on another level with better wheels and arm-strength. I love his attacking mentality- this kid is a winner.

The TD to Harris hit him right where he had his hands- perfect strike.

Impressive.

One of the reasons I think the kid could end up being very very good is you weren't high on the pick at all.

This dude is already one of the better QBs in the league. YEAH I SAID IT!!!!

Cut him a break. It took a minute to get out of "this franchise ****s us at every opportunity" mode.

Mahomes shall win you all over. All of you.

Once again, the first play of the night for Mahomes is not a bad decision.

If he puts that ball low and inside, his receiver is the only one with a chance to make a play on the ball.

It was poor placement because of terrible footwork, which results in an opportunity for the defender to make a play.

IF he throws it a little earlier he's not squeezing it into the sideline and forcing his guy to stop, he's hitting his guy in stride with room to potentially break a tackle and get up field.

Talking about placement when the ball was THAT late isn't something I'd agree with.
