I grew up on a farm in SW Kansas in the middle of nowhere. While I was mowing the gigantic farm I happened to look straight up and there was a black helicopter hovering about 50 feet above me.

I watched it for a few seconds and it climbed up and left the area to the west.

Weird shit that freaked me out a little.

I've never experienced anything. Not UFO's, not ghosts, not anything in the woods, not anything I can think of. I'm not sure what ever sparked my interest in all this. I often walk late in the evening hoping I'll see something strange in the sky but no luck.

(Which may not be a bad thing, the last thing I really want to do is draw the attention of some inexplicable light in the sky...)

You will enjoy watching paint dry more than watching that piece of shit movie, please believe me... find the book, skip that bullshit movie.

Would you settle for the NSA?

Oh why not, they already have every email, text, phone call and porn link I've ever been a part of. More information than the grays will get from any anal probe.

You guys should include a brief explanation or maybe a Wiki link of what you mention.

Would help out a lot..

You're a curious sort... if you see a subject that interests you, just start googling... you'll find a lot of bullshit, and you'll also find what you're looking for.

Dont count on this place to give you in depth material... go exploring.

Shit, so many things mentioned in this thread. Basically anything that might not be known to someone that doesn't spend a lot of their time researching this kind of thing..

Like, I don't need an explanation for Atlantis, Illiminati, JFK assassinations and shit like that; as I'm sure most wouldn't. Just the more obscure, lesser known things would be nice to be accompanied by a brief bit of information.

Just saying.

This thread has encompassed a large variety of mysteries, some of which I'm not interested in. It would probably take me hours to Google everything that's been mentioned in this thread to date.

I think most of the stuff has had some explanation, that's why I was asking. There's a lot of links and embeds, but the conversation jumps around a lot so it can be a lot of stuff to keep track of...

ThaVirus 01-23-2015 10:39 PM

I spend about 98% of my time on the Internet on my phone. As any of you that are similar may know, research is a bit harder to do that way.

If you guys don't want to include a briefing on what you're talking about then don't. It was just a suggestion.

keg in kc 01-23-2015 10:51 PM

It's not a problem, I was just asking if there was anything specific you wanted to hear more about...

I usually try to explain stuff as I go along, but sometimes I get caught up in a discussion or am busy elsewhere so I'm not able to. If you want to know about something, just ask. If there's anything I'm good at it's long, rambling messages that explain stuff in way more detail than anyone wants. :)

Have you experienced sleep paralysis?

JFC, I have a few times in my life, and it's terrifying. Once, when I was 15-16, I swore there was an alien in my bedroom staring at me for what was hours. I wouldn't (couldn't) move, I could only stare.

I finally convinced my body to attack it, only to discover that it was just an object in my room that appeared to be an alien.

Scared the shit out of me.

Hi Keg - Please address post # 135

No sleep paralysis, fortunately. Although maybe that's because of the sleep apnea and getting up about 300 times a night to pee. Speaking of sleep, I hardly have dreams. Although when I do they can be astonishingly vivid. At least it's astonishing to me. Maybe it's normal for everyone else.

Sleep paralysis is the worst. Nothing like starting your day with 5-10 minutes of actively willing yourself to move juuuuust a finger, or your wrist, . . . good Lord!! Is a toe twitch too much to ask?!?!?

I'd need to know what episodes you're referring to to answer that. I only discovered that show a few months ago and haven't gone back very far. Also haven't watched the most recent one (maybe more than one).

(PR is a little trickier for me since it's video, I usually spend most of my time offline, and listen to podcasts on an mp3 player, so I tend not to watch it for a while and then catch up in batches...)
